from what i've heard the ps3 isn't worth the money at the moment and there are some good deals on the 360. im yet to get the ps3 but will do when the price comes down a bit in 6months time or so. i think it is personal preference and both machines are incredible

Funny enough.I have neither.....But.I did get my ps2 out last night..(that sounds rude)..I was and still am a great fan of the "Final Fantasy" series...I am already being severly bashed .

The only one I've got is the Wii which I'm not all that keen on. I'll be getting a PS3 pretty soon. Yeah, it's expensive but considering it's got a Blu-Ray player inside it I don't think it's too bad. As soon as Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evo & GTA4 are out it'll be a must-have.

Ahh but you have to pay for that.
Playstations is free

You get a free months trial, just use another e-mail address and you get another free months trial and so on and so on.

My brother has a 360 and its sitting right next to me!

When I next have some money I'm gonna buy Gears of War cos that rocks!

They have a new Xbox out Ricey ."XBOX The kill KIGHTLY" version :p

Someone is fishing for some green! Would mate but already given you your daily dose. Don't want you over dosing!

LMAO!

I wish.

My Nintendo 64 has been quite adequate so I see no reason on spending hundreds on upgrades simply to "keep up with the Jonesy's" ...

Mike, get a Wii, it is fantastic, especially Zelda and Wii Sports. Also you can download all the old Nintendo games from the NES to the N64 as well.

I only play Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Banjo-Kazooie and Snowboards Kids regularly so I couldn't even begin to justify the cost of upgrading to a Wii. Now if I had kids ...

:)

Not really young enough to play on these things but i recently bought my 12 year old a wii and i think it's brilliant. Really actually quite fun when you get into it. My eldest bought himself the playstation 3 when i came out and it's impressive admittedly but for the half the money and double the fun, get a wii. It's got a brillaint name as well.

Not showing off, but for a period recently, I owned a 360, PS3 and Wii.

PS3 kills them hands down. Its just such an exciting console - the potential is vast. The games at the moment are already showing quality, though lacking in numbers.

Motorstorm is unbeliveable when you first play it (Resistance is good, but less impressive as FPS are 10 a penny, though 40 online at once is fun!).

F1 is also superb, very crisp, quick and the tilt control scheme is very pivotal (no pun) to the gameplay.

I also have Oblivion (which wasnt my cuppa tea, but is amazing) and Snooker which is meh...

Tie all the games in with an excellent web browser, bluetooth support for keyboard, mouse and headsets, a 60gb HD, wireless media streaming, a Blu-Ray player, Linux... pretty powerful package!

The 360 has a year head start on the PS3 and obviously the library is fully, but from what I have read, people are beginning to tire of the 360 and moving towards the power of the PS3. It seems that people are also sick of returning 360's that break down and are even saying that in hindsight, they would have rather paid the sort of PS3 prices for a reliable machine!

The PS3 online experience (though good in games - and free!) is good, it needs a few more options to bring it up to the level of the 360.

BUT - the future is where the PS3 lies - Pro Evo 7 (better than the 360 version due to Blu-Ray capacity), Metal Gear 4, GT5, Devil May Cry 4, WarHawk - plus 2 absolute killer looking 'games' - LittleBig Planet and the unlimited potential of 'Home' then I think PS3 is going to win the long-term race hands down.

Personally, with Sony keep insisting that they will not drop the price of PS3 for some time, I would bite the bullet and get a PS3 rather than waste 250-odd quid on a 360.

I got a great pay-monthly deal at Aria for my PS3 and I'm glad I did - thats why I sold my 360 in the end.

The Wii is a different kettle of fish - I've kept it for its unique-ness and the hope that developers are going to harness the controllers in the coming future. For now, Wii Sports and Tiger Woods are enough to keep it firing up every once in a while!

Hope that helps!!
