He'll go to Oxford, or wherever Lee Hughes is playing. After all this 'Team full of Daves' etc, Could probably do a jailbird 11 as well...

Our own captain marvel Luke Prosser. Played a pre season friendly at Roots Hall up front ( v Norwich ? ) came on as sub in midfield at Oxford away recently + is also colossuss at the back .

He's probably about 12-1 to score at anytime tonight too:winking:

Legend.

Pre-seasons don't count and even if they don't subs don't start!

I don't remember Leonard playing up front. When was that? Worrying how it must have been in the past couple of years and I've already forgotten.

He played in a 4-3-3 at somewhere like Rotherham.

Done. I;m not doing anything tonight.

Er, there's a game to go to.

Dave Morley , and who knows we could add Ben Reeves to that list tonight !!!

When did Morley start up front? I'm not even convinced he played in midfield.

I thought Franno played up front with Hooper was it Leeds away and we won 3-1? Mightve been a cup game.

That's a good shout but I'd guess it was Paynter and Hooper who started up front and he went up top when Paynter got injured.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure Morley started a game in a strikers positon. Can't really say that he played as a striker though, just that he was on the pitch and every other position was covered by someone else. God he was ****. Wonder what he's upt these days...

He's still playing for Bangor.

Well I asked Mark Bentley.

Can't think of anyone off the top of my head, apart from me who must of been chucked up front or at the back

Benno is God.

Mickey Beesley and Tony Hadley were before my time. Where did they play - centre-back or full-back, central midfield or outwide?

Spencer Prior - recall played upfront against Oxford Utd many years back, definitely started in defence and pretty sure
stuck in the middle from time to time..

Kane Ferdinand played most his games in Midfield but played just off the lone striker several times, daggers away last season when he got 2 springs to mind. He also played right back when clohessy missed a game or too through suspension. Also came through the youth ranks as a centre back

If my memory serves me right Julian Hails had an odd game pushed up front?

Mark Phillips? Played in midfield at Brentford and he must have been chucked up front at some point last season.

I remember Rob Newman playing up front. Wasn't he our top scorer one season, with 7 goals or something pathetic like that?
