I think our problem is that we are good enough now to keep pace with the play offs, but don’t look good enough to catch them at the rate required.

Have the FA ever moved that quick before? Quick google search is not giving any reasons for this suspension. He wasn't booked in Alti's previous game - so it's not a suspension after picking up x cards that starts a week later (or something similar)

Well, it could have been a better night for us.

The only consolation is with Eastleigh losing 2 -0 we have a better goal difference than them and move above them into 9th place.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick?

I think our chances are very slim given the games in hand ( and points ) advantage of those directly ahead.
Tough as it will be , I think we need to win at FGR and Eastleigh to have any chance.

Rochdale have put their poor run behind them now. They are already three points ahead of us with three games in hand so they will realistically be way beyond us.

So we need to overtake Altrincham (3 points ahead and 1 game in hand) and then overtake one from Gateshead (8 points ahead), Oldham (10 points ahead but played one game more than us) or Halifax (7 points ahead and one game in hand).

So we're currently around 8 points off achieving 7th place at the end and 10 games left to make up those eight points.....

Simples.
