Over 3,000 season cards sold

No, they are selling restricted view tickets and yes they do hold back on sales like for example the East Blue section, but they do issue season tickets in the Blue seats. The areas have been filling up fast when it first went online there was no way as many sold as now.

At this rate there will only be single match tickets available East Stand for League matches and not many of those either. The South Upper and West Stand is pretty full in most blocks as well.

There wont be many decent seats left for people that want to pay on the day.

Just 97 seats left in the East Stand Yellow/Red/Green/Black seats and they are either mainly singles or restricted view seats.

Only 143 seats left in South Upper (not including the back row restricted view seats).

Only 161 seats left in West Family Blocks Q & R. Mainly at the back of Block Q

Not wanting to sit and count the remaining seats left in the West stand, I'd say about 300 hundred left (max). That's not including W block which isn't showing available at present.

The club must have sold well over 5 thousand already.

ha ha if we get anywhere near 6k season tickets sold it will break all records and I will get a game, no more than 4k at tops and that's at a push:smile:

I think you'd better get your boots out of your loft because I'd say we've easily sold 5k already.... :omg:

I'd be very impressed and surprised if we sell more than 4,000 season tickets. I'm not sure of my stats here but wouldn't it represent something like a 100% increase if we do?

Not complaining though, great to see healthy sales.

OK just realised what is happening with the Season Ticket sales on the online system.
What would appear to happen is that when that seat is sold for the West Ham Friendly, it means that the seat is then no longer available on the online seat selection for a Season Ticket! The sales for West Ham match mirror exactly the Season Ticket sales. There appears to be a bit of a glitch in the super new system.

Therefore it looks like we are selling loads of Season Tickets when in reality they are probably West Ham friendly tickets.

So yes it looks like a system error and we probably have sold just over 3,000 season tickets.

To be honest i expect chaos on Saturday. I have three season tickets in East Yellow, L46,47 and 48. I phoned to buy my seats for both West Ham and Brighton requesting my seats. They sent me L46, M47 and M48 for West Ham and then L46 and M47 for the Brighton game. I phoned and complained, they cancelled the first transaction and resent me the tickets. This time i got the right seats but also M48 which is not mine.

Friends of mine sit in M48, 49 and 50. She phoned to get her tickets to be told that M48 had been sold already and in her name, clearly not right. They said that as the season ticket holder in M47 hadnt bought her tickets she could have M47 instead for the west ham game, this was before the 5pm deadline yesterday. In a panic she bought M47. My friend who sits in M47, her husband in M46 phoned to get her tickets to be told that M47 had been sold already, which of course it had to my other friend. They also told her that they had no other seats available near by. It was only when i got home last night that i found the extra ticket they had sent me M48. So in the end it is sorted but it has been chaos for three days trying to get this situ resolved.

This is exactly what happened to me last week. Went to renew my season ticket in the South Upper only to be told it had gone. I bought one for the row behind & a ticket for the Charlton friendly. After a bit of head scratching the young lady sussed that because the seat had gone for the WH game, it was showing as not available for the whole season. She made a note & said she would talk to the manager and get me swapped back to my orginal seat. To be honest I wasn't holding out much hope but fair play to her - she called the next day to say it had all been sorted. Of course, I won't know for sure until I receive the new card - was told they're being sent out in August.

It's called cheap:omg:

Yeah your right there! All I know is that whenever I have to go to the ticket office I dread it and usually something goes wrong. No offence to the youngsters there, they clearly aren't trained right and have no support. Without this sounding harsh which it will to be honest they come across sometimes very thick.

In all fairness when i have gone in person to the ticket office ive not had any problems, at least you can see what they are doing and you get your tickets in hand. My problems have always been over the phone. What also annoys me as a season ticket holder is, i dont understand why we cant have a unique log in to the ticketing system so that we can order our own seats for the cup / friendly games rather than have to join a q on the phone. I work full time and its awkward to sit at my desk for 1/2 hour on hold etc

Thats a good suggestion to be fair.

I usually move my season ticket seat for 1 or 2 games each season if my dad can't make it and every time I do this even though I tell them not to do it they go and move my season ticket permantely when I have asked just for the one game. Need their heads banging together.

I've actually found that when I did a test purchase for the West Ham game, I'd already got my Charlton and Brighton tickets, I requested one ticket in my normal block and then checked the basket I found that it had given me my ST seat by default. So give that a go on the online system.

I did think it was a lot, you even had me convinced we'd sold 6k.......... :stunned:

Yeah the number of season tickets 'sold' kept on going up and up and when I looked at the West Ham game online realised it was identical to the Season Ticket online sales. 'Rooster' posted above that the club new about this problem a week ago, you would have thought with this new ticket system it would have been easy to sort out.

Also regarding the new ticket system what happened to the print at home ticket option that I thought was going to be available?

That is exactly what the new system was meant to be able to do, ie deal with season tickets better.
