OD - Week 2

MrB

Life President
ShrimperZone CC v Crabbys Catchers

Our first ever competitive game against another Zoner and despite the fact that they won the division last year, it's one that we should win. Plums makes his usual single outing for the week.

Southend v Bowling Bowling Mushy

They were relegated last year, but I'm hoping they play a weakened side. If not, we'll get thrashed. I'm GFI, and will be in every league game this season.

Tough game for me today, playing the side that pipped me for 2nd last season. He lost last week to the side that came down, and he's lost both of his FC games as well, so I'm hoping that his lack of morale and my GFI will do the business. Full-strength side out today, although Prasad and Curle are only at Invigorated, whilst The King and Fat-Boy are at Energetic

Oooh, fitness issues. Not used to this. 2 players at invigorated! How very dare they.

Its 4th time lucky for me in the League format. The only win the General Stars have picked up so far was in the 2nd round of the cup and i shall be looking t repeat that Sunday. After a horrible start to the season, today's game should be the toughest i have for the next 2/3 weeks!

Full strength. Full fitness. And its attack, attack, attack ...

Kev

up against Talaton Trotters, who beat me twice last year. However our last game was pretty close (17 runs) and i have a markedly stronger bowling line-up out this time, so here's hoping. need to make inroads against their top order who usually do the damage against me.

Pendle CC v BATTY SHRIMPERS

We can tell you that BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands on this sunny day.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIBS DIPPERS v Hoveshire Hawks

We can tell you that DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Our first ever competitive game against another Zoner and despite the fact that they won the division last year, it's one that we should win. Plums makes his usual single outing for the week.

And 1 wicket down...
1.2 W Mason to Sajjad
What an absolute snorter, Mason really has bowled a beauty.

Quite pleased as my bowlers normally take a while to get going.

Am 15-0 early on. Got put into bat unfortunately and this is thier danger man. Look at the wages ... ( about half my total in 1 player )

9. Jon Matthews (469127)

RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic fitness.
A cautious player with competent leadership skills and mediocre experience.

Thick edge flies over the slips. One run down to third man.
