I really cant answer that. It all stems back to the Sunday when we cleaned the ground and I asked Anna Firth to try to sort things with E&S and the club as Kev said it was intolerable.

She did intervene regarding B&L but at that time the water was still on at RH.

RM calling bluff with a company the club owe money to. What a surprise!

As of this morning, Essex and Suffolk have turned the water off at the club , ATM unless the bill is paid or some form of payment plan is sorted between now and tomorrow, the game is very much in doubt.


As is stands now there is zero water running at the club. Let us hope they get it sorted.

Also with the assumption that they come and turn it back on straight away?? Essex and Suffolk could turn round and say well we can't get anyone till next week??

Great point. Possibly, yes, as the company is insolvent and subject to a WUP. The bank account isn't frozen but they may have to seek permission from court and WUP creditors to pay this off ahead of them. I might have that wrong but if it is the case, then I struggle to see that being sorted in time for tomorrow's game to take place.

No chance. E&S are a normal service business. They provide the water that wasn’t being paid for, for god knows how long. We’re a business which has been parking vans over man hole covers to stop the supply being cut as we don’t pay our bills. We’re the cowboys here. Ron is the cowboy here. We shouldn’t moan about E&S doing this. All need to focus our blame and anger at one man.

The game the other day at Brentford was delayed due to no water coming into the stadium, seen as a health issue, so guessing unless it is paid it will be called off near game time tomorrow
