NL Streaming Platform Launched

Not yet I’m afraid. Will keep looking.

I watched the Eastleigh v Wrexham match. The commentary was from BBC Solent, there was no buffering at all and the picture quality was good. Thumbs up from me.
I watched the same game and was very pleased with the quality of the whole game. Although the commentary was slightly bias, understandable, it did not put me off the game. It proved very easy to access the streaming and much better than IPlayer.

Well I must say I am impressed with what they have done so far, great pics with BBC commentary, plus you can switch to other games if you want, and you can rewind/replay, and even watch after the game has finished.

But for me the BIG plus is that I can login to your account and watch on my Smart TV, which I could not do on ifollow.

Ive got a refund of £4.95, but that because they took 2 lots , £9.90p, Or I just might have been fiddling about trying to get it right??

So it’s a fiver for a match pass, each time? Seems fair. I can’t get to a lot of away games or midweek home games. Happy to pay personally.

Like others, I had a bit of a surf around other games, and both the video and audio quality was good. I think there was only one match, maybe Maidenhead, where there was no commentary.

Just a note of caution on payments. In the account section, it tells me that my "subscription renewal" is due on 11 Dec, ie Tues. This kind of infers they will take the money automatically unless you cancel. Doesn't bother me for this week given the Halifax match, but I'm not necessarily shelling out £10 every week.

so its only Tuesday night games then? seems a bit pointless
Seems we are subject to 3pm blackout after all (although it's on hold during the world cup which is why they could have aired Saturday's match if it was on). It isn't pointless though, the matches will still be aired abroad where the blackout doesn't exist, which is good for any fans that have moved abroad, depending on how much the NL care about counteracting it you might be able to get around the restriction with a VPN too.

Its bull tho isnt it. I dont know many fans, pubs, or sponsors who have a serious conflict with watching/showing southend vs boreham wood or liverpool vs man city....

I suppose the fear is that it will discourage people from going to the matches live, I'm not sure how true that is in practice though, it would be interesting to see if iFollow has lead to drops in attendance.

Yes that is a genuine concern, particularly in weather like this. Financially though i think it would be beneficial.

The vast majority of supporters that would want to stream a game, either live abroad, live miles away (Home & Away games), or can not go to the game because work commitments, family issues, financial issues, rail strikes, ill heath, injury, have Covid, or just getting on a bit to be able to waddle down to the ground.

So they should stream ALL games for ALL supporters and this ADITIONAL financial income will benefit all the clubs.

I bought a pass for Boreham Wood game but didnt watch any game after the match was postponed. Does this mean I have credit and can watch another game at some time?

Shame if the 3.00pm games are abroad only...obviously ways round it. However i fancy games further than 1.5 hours travelling will get far more revenue from streaming than those it stops travelling. This League 80% of clubs don't take many away ....bad move!
