Nearly. Tring Athletic.

Yes I know, I went to see them a few years ago. Red and black hooped shirts, black shorts 'n' socks.
My gf lived in Tring, (Graham Poll does as well). It's a quaint town - the rail station is 3 miles out of town!

Fred Smith writes : Was that the 1-1 draw with the agreed penalty?*

*Damn, I've said too much!

did Dennis the menace play for them ?

Wouldn't it be fun if one of their players changed his name by deed poll to Denis Menace!

I remember Wet Spam signing a player called Rossi - his shirt number should have been 99 :hilarious:

Another big bad lad name from the past was Gazzer It was well know that he was a drinker many times in the press his name was plastered all over the papers .For being drunk with his so called mate A rather chubby chap who lead him down the drink and party culture .And where did this all start in Newcastle . But he was also another one who graced the football world dispite all the bad days

Interesting comments from Chris Phillips on Facebook that he "has been found guilty" and that that is why he can't play

I'm guessing that goes without saying that if it's a drugs test, then he must have failed it, otherwise this whole story wouldn't exist.

Hardly journalism of the year.

If substance abuse then he is finished for a couple of seasons at least.

Given the number of chances he's had and his record, added to the fact that he'll be 26 in April and may be serving prison time over the summer, his career would be over.

More than likely.....sadly Nile carries too much baggage, the club knew this and took the punt.

as usual, utter rubbish.

It depends if/when he failed a test but for social drugs like cannabis/cocaine/ecstasy it could be a few months up to a few years.

See the cases of Baxter, Livermore and McCarey for recent examples.

For actual doping even Ranger doesn't strike me as that stupid, because there probably aren't drugs on the market yet that you can take that improve the passes from your midfield.

Maybe it's not as bad as we think, perhaps it was just a big training ground bust up? & Nile intentionally tried to injure another player? from a rough tackle? some believe Phil doesn't have a high tolerance level for other players that upset the team balance (unless he does it himself of course).
