Have just used the system for the first time to book a ticket for next Saturday. Seems to work well, assuming the correct ticket duly arrives.

One thing though, it tells me the match is kicking of at 4pm; an extra hour in the pub sounds good.

We're a second half team.

I thought it seemed good too, but first off my existing log-in details wouldn't work so I had to to re-register. That took about 4 attempts to sort out. Choosing the tickets was easy enough but like others have said the kick off time was given as 4pm. And then when I received my receipt, the summary listed 6 adult tickets and 6 junior tickets even though I'd only purchased 2 of each. The itemised prices were completely wrong even though the total was correct. So I ended up having to phone anyway to confirm. The whole process took half an hour and I am sure a lot of people would have given up by then!

WOW, an online system that works! Perhaps tickets will work in the turnstiles now.

Well I ordered a ticket for today on Tuesday and just realised it hasnt arrived.

So not sure it does work.

Still got to go to the ground now to get it.

My praise earlier in this thread not completely justified !

Ordered mine on Monday, hadn't arrived by yesterday so popped into the ticket office with my reference number and there it was in a box at the back.

I asked what the point was of having a decent system if it all falls apart when it requires some manual intervention (ie posting). I got a lot of blank looks and a mumbled apology and one of them said it was simply an error.

Proficient system but with imbeciles (or inadequately trained staff) in the ticket office it will all be worthless.

Well lets hope you are luckier than Mick and I.

I hope you didnt order today, for today, expecting them to be delivered today

No booked for the Burton & Batnet games - fully expect to have to pick them up at the ticket office

When the missus picked up the ticket for Daggers she was told it was a new system and they are still getting used to it.

Get order. Print ticket. Pop into envelope. Post.

Either they are unable to work out a basic protest, or they cant afford the stamps....

I have just read this thread. My tickets didn't arrive either. I ordered 2 tickets for Saturday's game on Monday morning and received email confirmation back. I waited until the post on Friday had come and phoned the ticket office and went in to collect my replacement tickets which they got from the same box in the corner as above. Needless to say the originals still haven't turned up. I have never had a problem with not receiving my post and am very suspicious that they weren't ever sent out. I would rather have the cost of a first clas stamp added and receive them. Great booking system which I won't use again as I don't have confidence the tickets will be posted.

Used the new system twice now. First time tickets ordered on Weds before the match arrived in the post the following day. 2nd time tickets only ordered the day before the match so I knew I would have to collect them. Will use it again for the next match.

Ok, I know that I'm nit picking, but should not the grid with available seats point out where the pitch is so that a newbie to Roots Hall can make an informed choice of how near or far from the pitch they will be sitting?
