Cardiff and Hull won promotion last season and none of their players scored 10+ league goals.

Crystal Palace only had 1 player score double figures in the league in Glenn Murray, and the season before he had only scored 7 goals.

This is League 2 though , at top goal scorer is a little more important in this league . but i do agree , we don't need all of our strikers to score 15+ goals , but we do need one

Corr done it once, Eastwood unlikely anymore and 11 is Reids best effort in pro football. I will support all our players I'm just being realistic and I'm concerned despite today's positive news that we will struggle to score goals.

When will people realise that we're a midtable league 2 side who have for some time been under a transfer embargo. We're not going to attract your guaranteed 30 goal a season man or 2 guaranteed 15 goal strikers.

The only things we have going for us at the mo is we still get decent crowds at this level and are still considered one of the bigger clubs in League Two. Add to that a famous manager that players may or may not rate and we have a chance but that's about it.

So yes Reid is a gamble but so was Barry Corr. So was Lee Barnard when we signed him. So was Bilel Mohsni, Francis Laurent etc. We take these gambles coz every now and then they come off and without them all we'd be able to get is loan players that we won't be able to sell on if they're successful like Britt.

True, Tom Pope scored 31 league goals last season, yet his previous best was 11 and that was several seasons ago.

You never know what will happen in football. Corr, Eastwood and Reid have the potential to score 10+ league goals. Forte will add pace and maybe a few goals. Who knows, maybe Njie will turn into a star player but I highly doubt he will be getting much playing time.
