HAPPY DAYS I've just heard craig reid has gone to southend, all I can say is to them is un ****ing lucky!haha #WasteOfSpace he's so un loyal

He didn't seem to have a good time at Aldershot, but got tons of goals in the Conference for Newport. A risky signing, but on a free transfer and in our situation probably worth a shot.

As others have said, we need more pace up front, hopefully the Forte loan deal is sorted shortly, that would be a massive help, as he has lightning pace, which is much needed, especially in away matches.

Comments like this just make me want him to succeed all the more, especially against Tinpot Town....Oh, he wont have the chance.....Shame.

Daggers were pretty pleased to see the back of Tomlin too and he did well for us. Never go on what a couple of previous fans say, how many of us would have said the same about MacDonald, Harrold or Revell, yet they have done well since leaving us.

He scored 11 goals in 39 league games, so can't be that bad.

So they don't like the fact that he left them after relegation. I don't read too much into that...

Welcome to the club Reidy. Lets hope you are a success and prove the Aldershot fans wrong.

I don't see how Aldershot can be glad to be rid of him, most have been one of their top scorers last season, 11 goals for a relegated side isn't bad, especially considering Britt only got 16 for us and is worth over £1 million.

No sure you can compare Britt and this Reid guy. Yes he scored 11 goals in 45 games, but three of those were in one games. Britt was brilliant until he got injured at Dagenham and then barely turned up in most games there after. As for £1m price tag, that is defo overpriced. I will support anyone in a Blue shirt, but am seriously worried about a current strike force of Fred, Corr, Reid, Njie. Can not see any of them scoring ten or more.

On the striker goal totals corr and Eastwood have scored 20+ in a season for us in this league and then the new fella did get 11 so there is previous

Corr done it once, Eastwood unlikely anymore and 11 is Reids best effort in pro football. I will support all our players I'm just being realistic and I'm concerned despite today's positive news that we will struggle to score goals.

Cardiff and Hull won promotion last season and none of their players scored 10+ league goals.

Crystal Palace only had 1 player score double figures in the league in Glenn Murray, and the season before he had only scored 7 goals.
