Apparently its Don Cowan
Not the answer in my opinion
Still lacking goals.
I doubt Reid will be the answer, but hopefully he comes good with a new challenge

I don't mind Don Cowan coming in on a short term deal because if he wants to extend it he will need to put in the performances. He also gives us a different option compared to other strikers however I would prefer to get Forte in.

I am gonna stick my neck out and say Don Cowan wont score 5 goals this season.

To be fair we all said the same about Tomlin and look what happened there. If his pace can stretch defences it may well be worth the low risk (pay as you play ) contract he has been offered.

Tomlin had scored 6 in 10 while on loan at Gillingham, but Cowan hasn't played much at all in the last 3 years.

I doubt he will start more than 10 games this season for us, but hope I'm wrong.

Too be fair, all of Brown's signings so far seem to be decent - and what he has done to Straker is almost like a new signing too.

I thought Cowan was ok v Chelmsford, so happy to give him a good crack.
