Just read that the ship that blocked the suez canal is responsible for delays to the release of some football kits.
They specifically mentioned Hummel kits so maybe this is the problem with releasing our new kit this season.

Peak Southend :-)

This has become such a huge part of society through social media. Everyone seems to think they are owed something. In this case owed an image of next season's kit ASAP.

Why do we need to see it straight away, what's the difference between seeing it now and waiting until MTBD to see it? Other than fan impatience.

If the kit is any good it will sell regardless.
I agree with what your saying but I think it comes down to us always being late to party. Always very late to unveil kits and then even once unveiled, you then have to wait ages for them to come on sale. I think, for me at least, I get frustrated at the lack of business acumen from the club.

Last season it was refreshing to see the kits unveiled in what seemed to be quite a bit earlier than normal, but at a normal time compared to other clubs.

Saying, all of the above, I'm not overly bothered by when a kit gets unveiled. I'll buy and it and then only ever wear it once or twice haha, do the same every year. Except for the most pathetic attempt at a kit when we didn't have a sponsor. No way I was buying that for nearly £50 when you could literally buy the exact same shirt for £15 just without the badge on it. No thank you.

If so, not disappointed. They usually come with a decent fit and comfortable. Might even see the return of collars on our kits.
I believe its Macron. Hummel may have got fed up waiting to be paid. Nothing ready tho so theyre still using last years training kits from Hummel and believe not allowed to be pictured wearing them. Heard there may have been a small issue over payment with Hummel possibly!! No surprises there.

Waiting to be paid? By who, as I understand it all online sales and shop sales are handled by an intermediary company (with links to Hummel) and we get our share and they get there’s as SUFC do not run the club shop. And surely we dont pay for the players kit.

It is a little confusing all round, not saying I dis believe you just not sur ehow we owe them anything if we do not run the club shop

I agree its confusing. I thought the same when I heard that. Its obviously probably a more complicated deal than we know. Anyway..is just what i was told and I was sceptical too. Unfortunately what I hear is usually right

Heard this a while back and didn’t want to believe it. I bet poor Rhys Ellingham is really happy about having all the hard work he did to get that Hummel deal in place undone by the incompetence of Ron Martin and Patrick van der Waag. Just further sours the Club’s reputation in football circles, and makes you wonder how the Club will meet its financial obligations going forward.

Disappointed if we do lose Hummell - I really like the kits and training wear, and so does WS Junior - but Macron isn't the end of the world. This is Forest's kit; ain't bad IMHO.

Thats a bog standard template would hope we get better. It is simple and smart but surely we are not going for that Option should we move
Dundee are an SPL side and have played in the semi-finals of the European Cup/Champions League. I think you're being optimistic to think we're going to get something better than them.
