As you said their probably reasons. But if the reason is meet the blues day. In my opinion that's poor, especially now days where everything is published online. Fans shouldn't have to wait for 1st week August at some players meet day To see new shirts! The world we live demands the new shirts to be published online when ready.

That's just my opinion.

This has become such a huge part of society through social media. Everyone seems to think they are owed something. In this case owed an image of next season's kit ASAP.

Why do we need to see it straight away, what's the difference between seeing it now and waiting until MTBD to see it? Other than fan impatience.

If the kit is any good it will sell regardless.

You hit the nail on the head regards social media! We all want to see the latest news today, not tomorrow! You are right fans are impatient now days and I will include myself in that category to. I guess its the world we live in now.

On Facebook group they were chatting about the kits etc and Chris Phillips commented he doesn’t think it will be Hummel. Chris doesn’t normally comment unless he knows.

Not sure why Hummel would drop out of the deal if their only reasoning is we are now non league ... I really can't see shirt sales being effected too much ...

Plus the new shirts were designed last year (a modern twist on a classic) apparently ... so it's not like the club has dragged it's heals

Although, Rhys Ellingham did say that fans would get a say in the away kit this season ? and we obviously didn't hear anything about that .... so maybe Hummel fell through months ago? Hence the massive clear out of stock?

If we do go back to template kits this season, I won't be buying it.

Out of curiosity

If Hummel have gone, who do you want to see our bespoke kits made by?

And if we are going back to templates, who do you want ?

For me, I'd love Umbro

But if we went back to templates, I think the new Joma range is actually very nice ??

I did see that all last seasons Hummel kits, shirts and everything they had left at the shop was given to Fair Havens to sell off.

Hummel kits are great and popular with literally everyone but I personally think Macron are actually even better.
Macron just released new forest away kit. It’s a stunner!

Nah - if it drives/helps attendance at the meet the blues day - that's better. Helps to keep people engaged with the club physically.

Just read that the ship that blocked the suez canal is responsible for delays to the release of some football kits.
They specifically mentioned Hummel kits so maybe this is the problem with releasing our new kit this season.
