Why is he now calling people out on Twitter? What a plum.
I guess he is trying to find out who you are so that he can put the record straight again, as clearly some dont seem to understand his points.

This is actually quite childish on both sides now, fair enough he doesn't right the headlines and I don't think he did anything wrong. The moaning on twitter about people and people on here moaning about him is ridiculous.

What you havnt answered is why is it an abuse of trust?? BC is injured fact! Isnt this all the paper is doing, reporting the fact? Is Jordan Robertson upset with CP becasue he said that he was hobbling around the training ground on crutches? BC should be grateful that he even has a contract after the past season, not be worrying about a headline that he doesnt like the sound of, surely. As i said i am a massive BC fan and truely hope he can recover to the form of two seasons ago, so im not having a go at him, but the whole thing seems to have been blown out proportion.
Hang on a minute, if CP doesnt write the headlines who does? That job seems like a piece of cake, let someone do all the hard work then just make up 4 or 5 words to go with it.
No he doesn't, but as a reporter he'll have a significant say in the tone of the piece. He would've seen the page before it was signed off (or signed it off himself, I've no idea how senior he is at the echo) and could've recommended an adjustment if he thought the terminlogy to be too harsh or damning. Corr doesn't seem to have been riled by just the piece though, his comments on Twitter came across that Corr/the club had been accomodating to the paper and had then had this piece produced which is misleading/sensationalist. It's an abuse of trust and, given the fact that it wasn't so long ago that Sturrock prohibited players from talking to the press, not a particularly wise one.
Wow...seriously. The things people get on their high horse about never fails to amaze me. A player injured for over a year is injured again and gets labelled a crock...the journalist who reported this FACT is then attacked for a headline he didn't right.
Slow news day or what.
In respect to ESB, Corr and Phillips have enjoyed a lot of banter prior to this on Tiwtter, re: match ratings Phillips has given BBBC, and vice versa in charity games, BBBC has given Philiips low marks in jest, so your assumption that Corr is riled by a long term accomodation of the Echo are short of the mark in my opinion, given the good relationship they've previously and publicy shared.
Attack? I was only passing my own judgement on what I thought was a misleading headline before Phillips obviously got offended and started calling me out on Twitter (which was a bit silly). I incorrectly assumed that Phillips would've had a say in it (from my own personal experience, I would've thought Phillips to have some say in the headline), before apologising for my assumption as to how senior he is at the Echo.
As for the "relationship" between Corr and Phillips, I'm only going on Corr's comments last night. It obviously offended Corr as he felt the need to speak up about it and referenced how he's given the paper interviews in the past.
Its only a ****ing groyne strain nothing to worry about
