New injury setback for Southend United's long term crock Barry Corr

Not at all surprised he has got a few twinges considering the amount of time spent on the sidelines. All is not lost, and remember, he is not going to have to do it all himself this season (hopefully!).

Agreed after all this time out it would have been a miracle if he had come back to training an not got a mild muscle strain here and there.

Yes. Of course it would be great, fabtastic and superbo if all went well but I am still hoping for him to be featuring come the games at Peterborough and home to Accers.

Come on Barry, stop messing around at Hadleigh on the mountain bike course and get back to training properly.

The Echo is just tomorrows chip paper nowadays, i'm surprised SZ endorse it by way of these "news" items

Maybe because it's the only way we actually find things out. Official site has gone well downhill.

Why is it a poor headline. BBBC has been out, injured/crocked whatever you like to say, since April 2011. I love the guy and would love to see him playing in the team again, but fact is that he does have a terrible history of injury and at present he has another injury that prevents him from playing. Newspapers always over hype on headlines whether its the Echo, broadsheets or the red tops, thats what they do to try and sell papers. According to BC has has been training very well and is almost there in terms of fitness. A minor set back, but thats it.

It's disrespectful and insulting. Particularly as the injury is a very minor one.
