Another bonus to this 'potential' signing is what a player like harry Crawford could learn from having Harris around, if Harris could help Crawford with say positioning & gambling on the right balls, Crawford would so much the better player for it.

Just emailed my pal who is best mates with him and he saw him sat night and although he never questioned him ....Harris didn;t even mention it , plus he mentioned he was pleased that he was just getting back in the side ...............Unfortunatlet chaps this aint gonna happen

Would love to be proved wrong but he hadn;t spoke to another club as of Sat .

On a separate note signing good experienced pros is one thing. Man management of the tricky ones (Ricketts) is where Tilly failed spectacularly.

To be fair to Tilly most managers with the possible exception of Allardyce have failed where Ricketts is concerned. And I'd never thought I'd see the words good experienced pros describing Ricketts.

Experienced compared to Crawford and good compared to Pato. Ricketts is yet another pro that has underperformed in comparison to his abilities.

My mate has just texted his mate is friends with Harris, he knows nothing of any interest from Southend. This really annoys me that people start posting rumours that are completly untrue, there are four pages on here of people getting excited etc re Harris when clearly it isnt even close to being true!!

Don't be silly...4 pages of rumours.........there are hundreds of pages of rumours on this site if it wasn't for rumours we would have nothing to talk about.
PS said before the weekend a player was thinking over a move to Southend, was that Sawyer? or is there someone else....come on., Names, Names Harris can't be the only one.....Jack Midson return? PS said he would be intrested in a return and nothing since?

money really shouldnt be an issue, when he signed for forest they gave him a signing on bonus of £700k!!. Sure he wouldnt want too much in wages, although i do think the whole rumour is bollox!!

It is. Neither Harris nor Millwall have heard of any approach from Southend.
