His style is nothing like Corr or Sturrock.
In fact, he could be the perfect partner for Corr or Sturrock.
Really? I thought he linked play and a good target. Can't see him on the shoulder of last defender and beating them for pace.
Only seen him play at Roots Hall for millwall a few times so i could be missing something.
It's possible Millwall may pay up his contract as a reward for his many years there. If that's the case he may be willing to accept a much lower wage here. I'm sure he'd be comfortable at this level, I'd be a bit concerned over his fitness.
Hmm ... maybe not as much as he would be about yours! :hilarious:
Sorry mate, sat up nicely - had to put it away. I'd be delighted if we signed Eastwood's finest. I'm sure he could do a good job at this level for the rest of this season and maybe next.
Would also fit in well with Luggy's thoughts about building "two teams", with one deployed at home and one away. Blair very much fits the bill of a striker who flourishes away from home, given his ability to hold the ball up, whereas Harris is a forward who acts more on instinct to score goals, and would make a lot of defences at this level uneasy given his experience and presence.
Yes, Luggy also said he want's players that have "been there done that and got the t-shirt"
Harris fit's that bill, many times over.
I think as you touched on there ESB. Just the mention of Harris in our team, would be enough to make the opposition manager think hard about his tactics and also strike a little bit of fear into opposition players.
Harris in League Two, would be deadly in my opinion.
I wonder if this little extract from his Wiki page could tell a story:
"On 28 January 2010, Harris prolonged his contract with Millwall until 2012"
So on Jan 28th this year he has exactly 1 year left. I wonder if that will be paid up by 'Wall and allow Neil to move, just before the window closes.
