Can't see it. But would welcome him with open arms. About time he pulled on a Shrimpers shirt.

Neil Harris is in danger of overtaking Matt Lockwood in the transfer-speculation-proves-bollocks league. He would be a great signing, of course, but he's still a first-teamer at Millwall, isn't he?

Someone else mentioned this today as well. He is contracted until next year and must be on a decent wack. How can we afford him?!

Only 4 starts this season plus 9 sub apps. I guess at 33 years old he may make the drop down to League Two to play for his childhood side, but some of his appearances have been recently, including Saturday.

He has sat behind me twice this season so he has form for appearing at Roots Hall. That said I can't see it sadly.

He hasn't exactly been prolific recently either, will he be better than Corr and Sturrock? He had a great season last year but I worry his legs have gone.

My worry aswell. Last thing we want is another Dougie Freedman :)

It's possible Millwall may pay up his contract as a reward for his many years there. If that's the case he may be willing to accept a much lower wage here. I'm sure he'd be comfortable at this level, I'd be a bit concerned over his fitness.

He did well last season through, as he played a part in helping Millwall gaining Promotion, I am sure Harris would love an challenge to try and lift Southend into the Play-off this year!
