Name the location?

This is the 2nd one from the angle it's more usually viewed, as you can tell, not Dover or Ireland!

Its stunning, built by the italians during World War 2 so they had somewere to pray, whilst they were building the Churchill barrier on Burra The inside is quite amazing until you get up close and realise that it is all just painted, there is no brick/stone work at all, its all jst painted wall paper.

In fact, I pretty much loved the whole of the Orkney Isles. I worked on Highland Park in my old job and went there to visit the public records office to dig up some info on the original distillers. No trees, plants, houses for miles or let up of wind but a stunning place all the same:

Oight! :offtopic:

Going to assume no-one else has been to this particular little beauty spot when they've been here on their hols....

It's Los Gigantes (The Giants) on the West coast of Tenerife, a beautiful little oasis of calm in the hurly burly that Tenerife has become since we first went in 1977. The village (now adjoined by Puerto de Santiago) has it's own little mini climate because the rocks protect the resort from so much.

Been there twice...and climbed the Rocks above the town....when I went it was just a small place....I seem to remember we went to a lido from there not far up the coast and had a mad drive some evenings to get into Los Cristianos.

Only lido I really know is at Puerto de la Cruz up on the north coast and the crazy mountain road to get to it! Los Gigantes is a lovely place.
