some of you must be pleased with yourselves treating a fellow fan of over 40 years in the way he was treated.

Yeah, I must admit I find the whole 'Daily Mail injustice to the white british working man' act to be a bit of a pain in the arse I dont think it warranted a banning to eternity.

I'd say that a lifetime ban for someone who is unable to post in any event is

a) a bit much, and
b) something that should have been decided unanimously.

A moderation log (as I suggested before) would have at least explained this bizarre decision.

If you were sentenced to 3 months for shoplifting, and whilst in the nick it was extended for life, you and yours would feel a bit hard done by.

Dear Owners

I would respectfully ask that graysblue be allowed to rejoin the Board as originally intended. I fully understand that this Board, which provides hours of free entertainment at no cost to its members, does cost you money and a good deal of time, and it is your decision to ban members as you see fit in order to facilitate the smooth running and harmony of the Zone. However, I believe that graysblue would not constitute any threat to Board harmony if those with differing views were more receptive of the fact that we can disagree on politics but stand together as fellow Shrimpers. As someone who has returned from a ban, I realise that posting on the Zone is an important part of my leisure time and has enabled me to make new friends within the Southend United community. I was happy to accept conditions being applied to my return, and I am sure graysblue would be happy to do the same.
