my mum was with them, but I just sorted her a Virgin Media deal.
TV- All sky sports stuff, setanta and everything except movies, Phone, all calls to landlines free for a year, and broadband 2mb.

There was a £25 instaltion charge bu the bloke reduced it to a fiver with hardly any haggling.

Total cost £51/month

Here's the story: My broadband speed is terrible, virtually no faster than dialup. Ring up technical support - after 45 mins wait talk to an indian call centre who told me that "icons on my desktop" will slow the speed down. After I "politely" told him that he was talking sh1te, he said he's go and have a look at something else - on hold for five minutes only to be cut off.

Stupidly I rang back and got the same "service".

Go to cancel today and ask for my MAC only to be passed to some South African who begged me to stay and said he'd get someone to ring me at 5pm who will sort it out. Finally get a call at 5.30 and told that i'd be passed to someone but there will be a "short" wait. 20 mins on hold, finally get through. Cut off without a word.

Seriously I pray the entire company goes under the the chairman and the board end up inside being buggered daily by Mr Big.

brilliant brilliant song. people write off the 80s but there is some stunning songwriting behind the big hair and synths... talk talk are one of my favourite bands, both their popular songs and their brilliant minimalist "pre" post-rock stuff

I used to use BT but when I phoned their helpline and found they have moved it to India, it took me about 3 seconds to change#

I doubt there are any ISP's that don't use Indian call centres.

I've not got much objections to companies using Indian call centres for UK customers but they really need to make sure that the staff can understand English - too many times have I rung up a helpline only to get people who can probably fix the problem yet can't understand what I'm saying.

Perhaps one that lives up to it's contractual obligations and treats it's customers with respect, rather than screwing them for the benefit of the chairman and the bloody shareholders?

I use one in Chelmsford. Not the cheapest but service is excellent, and if I get a problem I phone the bloke the who owns the firm. Worth paying a bit more if you want good service.

Absolute sad losers who spend most of their time at gigs trying to film clips onto their mobile phones.

From the angle I was standing at whilst watching Editors last night at various points of the gig it seemed as if almost half the crowd were doing this. Now we've stopped idiots waving their Zippos at gigs we're now faced with the eMedia equivalent.

Utter utter to55ers! Why bother, quality will be patchy (at best) both in terms of picture & sound? Use your brain & remember what bands are like, don't try & file it away on some memory stick!
