Pop Indie is definitely a genre that's starting to hack me off.
For those of you who used to go, or indeed still do, the Toothbrush used to be a good club, pretty much underground tunes and unknown bands played most of the evening. Recently, it seems to have turned into some kind of reject Talk evening, and after 11pm you hear nothing but Kaiser Chiefs, Jamie T and The Killers (another band who, quite frankly, aren't fit to even dry my knackers after having a shower).
I love my Indie, but these new bands just take the p**s IMHO.
