I was down for the Luton game last Saturday and due to drive back to Aberdeen yesterday but how could I pass Morecombe on the way and not stop for the game!!! Sitting having a pint in the Hurley Flyer outside the ground looking forward to the game and seeing some old faces from the Zone. UTB's

Got 3 tickets last week for this, then a couple more mates expressed an interest so I phoned the box office at 3 this afternoon on the off chance there may be some available. They had a handful left over that were about to come off sale in the next few minutes so paid for 2 over the phone and picked them up half an hour ago. So that's 5 of us making our way up tomorrow! :smile:

Wife and 4 year old were coming for the Blackpool stay over only + joys of Morecambe seafront (as no seats left I was told - though appears there were this morning)
Youngest has the Pox - wife annoyed usual story - hotel no canx policy
drama indeed - Blackpool leg may have to wait till next year................

Morecambe Football Club are delighted to announce that they have again been honoured at the British Pie Awards, held this week in Melton Mowbray. Head Chef Graham Aimson and his team had multiple entries across various categories and during today’s final judging found out that they had been successful in two categories. First up was our Chicken/Ham/Leek pie which took first prize in the ‘Best Pie in Football’ soon followed by our entry winning the ‘Bramley Apple Pie’ category.


All category winners are then judged to find the 2014 Supreme Champion and for the 2nd time in 4 years Morecambe Football Club have walked away with the top honour with our Bramley Apple Pie being given the accolade of the ‘Best Pie in Britain’ thus becoming the first pie producer to win the top honour twice.
