Got my match ticket before the bury game, hotel booked, travel sorted.
Just need a #Bad_News_Barrett winner to complete the season!

My old bones just can't cope with 500+ round trips anymore. SZ and Bluesplayer for me I'm afraid.

Going up on the TZ coach and staying overnight. Can't wait but very nervous already  Gawd knows what I'll be like on the day

Not going got too due to partner puting her foot down and not wanting me too go.
Even though we stayed in Morecambe last season. In her words its a shi!! hole. Tried well what about Lancaster.
Did not work!!
Oh well Hartlepool Bury etc etc were good days out on TZ and the result.
Got to respect her allowing me too go to every game home and away last season, and any new grounds this season
plus all close away games plus all midweek away.
So dissapointed and my ear will be stuck to the radio.

I've decided to keep the peace with her ladyship by taking her with me. To be fair she does come to most home games and does some work for the club and with the players.

Leaving early Friday for a 2 nighter in a spa hotel near Lancaster. £150 on lastminute.com. I did look at the art deco hotel on the front, very nice but same deal with sea view £340. Plus the spa they advertise is actually at their sister hotel which is were i'm staying.

Really looking forward to this one and I like the fact that we will be strolling along the sea front Saturday morning rather than nervously worrying about traffic on the motorways. Not decided which route to take to get as far as Preston yet but after speaking to Morecambe they warned that any one traveling on Saturday should definitely continue to the next junction as they expect even more traffic on a bank holiday. Obviously not everyone going comes on the zone so please pass on the word to any shrimpers you know or see on your travels. Good luck, leave early and arrive safe

Didn't think I'd say this again after flying to Newcastle for Sunderland away but...plane booked

Ha ha i did that as well, absolute nightmare from start to finish including the match, asuming you mean the 4-0 defeat at Stadium of light that is.

We will be there, 5 of us driving up Saturday and then meeting up with 9 others who are coaching it!

Made a deal with Mrs. Suffolk Blue; if there's anything riding on this then I go, otherwise she would get the pleasure of my company ay home instead. Never imagined it'd be a case where automatics would be in our own hands! 3 of us travelling up from East Anglia. I imagine the nerves will build mile by mile.

I took that flight too. On the way back, dropped my southend hat in the security queue at Newcastle, none other than Mr Paul Brush handed it back to me on the other side!
Driving up this time though, can't afford the flight!

It's only Thursday, the hours are going by soooo slowly. This reminds me of the excitement of 5k+ Everton, and for me, seeing Peter Shilton; our Championship game at the Baseball Ground, again with brilliant support away at a club of the likes/history/standing we had not faced previously on many competitive occasions.

Excited? Kid nearing Christmas? pff, thats childs play. I'm talking about my 75 yr old Dad here!

cannot believe the mrs booked dubai months ago not thinking this game could be the promotion party we've all been waiting for . not sure whats the best way for me to keep track of theme over there other than sz or twitter. any ideas guys?

Love to go but cannot get from Cornwall by train in time for the match or back again either - (would mean two overnight stays) - also fare would be around £120 even with my old mans railcard.

Driving would be impractical also :'(

I remember the amazing atmosphere at Cardiff when we went up through the play-offs. I think this will be even better.. I really hope we do it!! Will grown men cry?

My son and I will be making the journey from Colchester. Tickets arrived about an hour a go, can't fault the club they've delivered what they said when they said!

This will be the furthest away game, previous was York in Alan Little's reign, but it had to be done if I could get tickets and thankfully I could. Never been to the area before, I once went to Manchester on business, but that's it. Going away this season has been great so just one more memory please.......

Jealous, very jealous. The best I can do is confirm I will be in a bar at KO time 10pm my time and probably 25C but that's no compensation. Someone take some bicycle clips for Cricko please. Flares are banned but he might just get away with it:pig:
