Liverpool would be a bad move for Fred....Crouch, Fowler, Bellamy, Garcia, Pongolle, Mellor....are all available so why would he go there?
Far better to get regular football wherever he eventually goes and to get that he needs to be part of a smaller squad or at least with fewer strikers.
By the way I am a Southend 1st and Liverpool 2nd fan (at Cardiff to see them play Chelski off the park last Sunday) and nothing would suit me better than to see Fred end up at Liverpool....but reality says it's never going to happen.

That was in the Telegraph and was part of their fans rumour mill, which are just texts sent to the newspaper just the same as any message board.
It said `my mate works at the Reebok and he's just seen Jan Venegoor of Hesselink and Freddy Eastwood in the car park' To think that some car park attendant would just recognise Jan Venegoor of Hesselink, let alone Freddy Eastwood, is laughable.

I just dont see us selling him this window whoever came in for him. We are sitting in a perilous position. albeit only after 3 games, and what we wouldnt want to do is sell the only player who is proven st scoring goals.
