Seems we lack the characters to turn things round. How can the players talk the talk in the press then turn in such woeful performances. Something lacking in terms of character and desire. Ron has every right to ask what happened to the team that smashed Millwall.

Waste of time, waste of money.

Lets pick the same team every week. Lets make the same subs every week.

Seriously what is the fking point?

just got back, 1st half we looked the best side until they scored, from then it was all downhill. Even Hurst described our 2nd half performance as garbage and said he felt sorry for fans

How on earth can you keep losing and drawing each game yet still pick the same team every week.am fast losing faith with brown , we have seriously screwed up this season and fail to see why changes arent being made.how must the players not in browns starting line up feel when they see the team sheet going up.

Brown needs to go rapid as he clearly isn't going to change sod all. Dagenham about 7 games ago was the time to change it and quite honestly Tango has been so inept that it is unforgivable. New ideas required as well as a new goalkeeper that can command aerially instead of those ridiculous gymnastics that Bentley performs.

In all seriousness, I wonder if Paul Smith might get a run out on Tuesday. An away game would seem a sensible place to give him a game. Dan and the current defence certainly seem to have some issues that need some work, maybe the experience of Smith might be worth a try for this game?

Well he can't be worse. Bentley has gifted plenty lately and just doesn't look up to the aerial part of a mans game.

I don't think Smith will play for us again barring an injury. However he got torrents of abuse for not coming for crosses, whereas his successor gets no abuse for glaring howlers. Life's not fair is it!

****ing embarrassing! Didn't go, didn't listen on radio and my god I'm glad. This season has completely gone to pot. Not a chance in hell we will even make the playoffs at this rate. Mid table finish yet again. Change the ****ing team brown. You spout so much crap about changing the team and never do. Beyond fed up now.
"We won't be in the same league as morecambe in a few years". Really Ron, really? No you're right because we will probably be in the conference. So embarrassing how we can lose to a team who attract 1500 fans and have one of the lowest budgets in the entire football league. Pathetic. The players and manager need to take a long hard look at themselves because this is not acceptable.

Change the ****ing team brown you say? If he gets the ok from Mr You Know who above him he might well do

If we get beat in the next two games I can see Ron wielding the axe it's that simple. We have a very decent squad in this division and brown has had more backing than sturrock and we are no better off.

I can't understand how a squad that played great football and was getting constant results has just capitulated the way it has.

I can't help keep thinking that we very, very rarely have had any decent or prolonged level of success from either players or managers who are, by origin, Notherners. I don't include Scottish folk in this statement. Nor do I include players like Kevan Hurst, who, all credit to him, has brought his immediate family to live in the area, thereby showing that he has invested in this football club.
Now, correct me if I am wrong, but so far as I am aware, all three of our management team have not felt invested enough in this club to move here with their families. They have all chosen to live relatively lonely lives in rented accommodation, physically apart from their families. Time and again, the latest supposedly being Cresswell, we have had Northerners here that get homesick (God only knows why) for their families, friends and lifestyles Oop North. Let's face it, these tough, no nonsense hard men can't stand us Soft Sootherners.
So just tell me, why does or did everyone expect this latest bunch of Northerners to work out well here??? They never have before. We should all be praying that another hero of the South turns up from somewhere.
Come back Steve Tilson or stand up Kevin Maher.

Why. Out of embargo ???????????? Where is the type of investment the squad really needs if we are out of embargo??????

Being embargo free makes no difference, we haven't got the money anyway. Last bit what you say about Ron. Really????

He needs asking himself questions. About what I've stated here plus his meddling in team affairs.

Notice his charm offensive act with players before kick off - Very smarmy and put on Can see right thru him.

We started off nicely and buolt up some good moves, the goal by Lennie was a real team effort.
We were cruising, Morcs had no idea and no threat, the big question was how many could we score?
Then Dan and JW and MP all left a simple ball to each other and Ellison (bully boy) nipped in and took his goal and all our unity and spirit.
We didn't start the 2nd half (again!) and then PB made some very odd subs.
We nearly got back ahead and from nearly scoring we concede from a very quick break.
We collapse! cant pass, cant do **** all.
More weird changes and we were garbage, worse last 30 minutes I have seen in years.
At half time we must have taken sleeping pills and morcs grew some balls because they bullied and harried us off the pitch; aided by some poor officials.
Player ratings?

PB??????what are you thinking of?

Cant understand the point of the "behind closed doors" friendlies "to have a look at a few alternatives" then to come out with a statement saying how well the front 3 of Eastwood, Barnard and Payne played together, and how sharp they looked, only to start with the same old same old??

The size of our squad, until recently, dictated that most players were not fighting for their place in the side, whats the excuse now? No one, and I mean NO ONE, and I will not mention any names, is un-dropable from this current side, so Mr Brown its kick *** time!!! Earn your money.

These guys won't move on the basis of short term contracts... What's the average length of time a manager is in tenure? 18 months?
would you move for 18 months? I wouldn't up sticks the family for that.... And that's without the "Ron factor" in any decisions they make.......
and Tilly and even Maher is not the answer...

Look at the return of Fred and Barney... Second times don't always work....l and Maher hasn't got the required badges....

on the positive side, the games coming up are against better teams, which so far this season has seen our best performances; whether it's because they try to play more football or our players are more up for it, i don't know.

All the people calling for Bentley to be dropped...he makes at least one or two world-class saves each game, he may make the odd mistake (though the goal against Wycombe is hardly his fault) - but this is LEAGUE TWO where all players makes mistakes, or else they'd be playing at a higher level! - but these have by and large not come when playing behind Prosser - bloody hell, Joe Hart would struggle playing behind Thompson/Phillips!

Where PB must make changes is in midfield, surely Laird and Payne have to be in for Timlin or Atkinson and Straker, with Strakes used as an impact sub alongside Williams and Freddie...and if we can get another striker in, send Barnard back to Southampton! Let's face it, he's done...

I keep thinking on what changes PB made yesterday and what he can dofor Tuesday.
Scunny is a narrow pitch.
The dismantling of our midfield made us much worse and Barry keeps going with no support so I would replace either Hurst or Strakes with Fred or young Williams and see how that works out.
If other changes are too be made then Atko out with either Payne or Laird replacing him in midfield.
Our problem yesterday was the midfield and wing play/passing disappeared with Tims and Lennie going off.
