Shame as I thought for a while that he could have been a real player.

The thing with Cole though is that he's got a chequered medical history and you never know what effect that has had on him as a player. He's looked lightweight to me, but maybe he couldn't physically put on any more weight without it carrying an increased risk to himself.

Either way, I wish him well.

He is far too lightweight for this level of football, every team he played against new the heavy challenge in the first 10 mins would either see him subbed or go missing for the remainder of the match

the further down the football league and conference you go the more physical it is

it's no secret that Cole had some serious heart problems as a youngster, and my friend was the academy physio and mentioned this the other day when chatting about cole... i don't know if this was a factor but obviously he never really looked the fittest and i can't remember him last 90 so maybe that is the real reason

a massive shame because he is a class player with all the attributes of a top winger

Glad he is off the wage bill . He needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask if he has the guts to play football as a career and provide for his young family.
