Forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe the consensus of 90% of the Southend support and the vast majority online was that Cumbersome was a poor signing at the time. It didn't exactly take the insight of Steven Hawkings to work that one out, seeing that his movement resembled that of him anyway.

The constant criticism from one certain poster, although fully entitled to a view, is at best tiresome and at worst complete rubbish. Continually pointing out individual's shortcomings without mentioning any positives, whilst doing the complete opposite for the few that are liked, indicates that someone has (i) no considered view of the individual concerned and/or (ii) are looking to just seek some sort of attention.

The ongoing criticism of the management has been no more constructive either. It appears to be just just cheap little jibes as opposed to having taken in the way the team play, where players are positioned, results, etc, which could then be used to back up an opinion. It's an obvious example of someone who has never coached any team at any level in their life.

Resorting thereafter to just banal insults at fellow posters because their views differ simply reflect more on the poster writing them than their intended target. Whilst I would never, of course, descend to such levels, there is an obvious whiff of 'pub bore' about it.

Okay, if you say 90%, let's see a complete listing of your obsevations throughout Steve Tilon's and Steve Wiganall's time as manager and what has actually transpired. If your percentage is correct I will gladly acknowledge your input in a positive manner.

I would, however, ask for an apology for suggesting that you knew exactly what my view on Luke Guttridge was and branding me with a juvenile label. You do yourself no credit at all with these generalisations.
