Mark Gower to the Owls ?

yeah i get what you're saying and obviously the money would be massive for us.. but i believe Gower will be cruicial for us next season and I personally would take the gamble on him going for free because:

1. He is class, and will tear apart fullbacks in league 1 after a season in the CCC
2. The only other proper winger we have is JCR!

IMO he is worth more than £250,000 because he has scored a lot, consistently, and apart from freddy is the only player who regularly opens up defences. The only downside is that he is probably at his peak, and whilst in the last 2 seasons his general fitness has been excellent, he is quite injury-prone
 
If any of the players whose contracts expire next year can go for nowt on Bosmans, then we should listen to any decent offers for them (and, in truth, accept those offers).
Unless we can persuade them to extend their contracts then yes, sadly, I'd have to agree.
