Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Marcus Dackers signs on loan until end of season

Transfer news
A great signing, and another from the SUEPA stable, he did well for us before and will be especially useful whilst Cards is out.

Marcus is a good lad too and will immediately be a good fit re team spirit. He recently kindly signed a shirt for us to auction for the Walker campaign.
Does he have to relinquish his membership of SUEPA whilst back

Nice to have a Full squad now with competition for places, would love to see Walker added aswell and id say we are pretty much there and would be a force in this league with that squad
Agree - either Waldron or Walker and then call it a day for signings! Don’t want to damage what has been our greatest strength during these months of turmoil - the togetherness of the squad!

It should be interesting to see how he does versus his time at Salford. Salford are 4th from bottom in the league above (lost 4 & drawn 2 of their last six) whilst we would be in the play-offs (or close but for the points deduction). Sometimes I think that there is little in difference between a team fighting against relegation compared with a team going well in the league below. [Shoulder shrug; query face]
Hopefully, there will be one difference we have, especially coming out of the darker times than a bottom four side from the division above. That is confidence.

As Marcus said in his interview, we are creating chances, if we hadn't had the points deduction we'd be in a play off spot, as opposed to a team being at the bottom of a division, as we well know, every bounce or decision seems to go against you. Players are more inhibited, because going behind usually ends in defeat.

So hopefully Marcus can get on the score sheet early in his spell, push on and we and he all win together and see what the summer brings for us all.

Got a good feeling about this one.

Time for a last minute charge up the table and change what was potentially our worst season ever, into one of the best.
