Manager Sacking and Appointment Thread

Well said. I think the owners are septics and had lined up Rooney as he quit DC Utd. Imagine John Eustace will have a smug grin now and rightly so
There is a more polite version of this you know.My late father who was a cockney (and served in WW2) always used the term shermans for Yanks.

Can they polish a **** though?
Well, it's all very odd there and I think they struggled at Huddersfield because of they didn't have full control of transfers etc. Cowling is renowned for sticking his nose in where transfers are concerned.

The fact they had announced the signing of a new player, which they paid a fee for prior to getting the Cowley's in would be a concern to me.

On the note of the new player, the Motherwell fans in the tweet were brilliant comments such as "He's gone and can't believe someone paid for him "

This is a pretty damning list! If we get promoted under Kev he’ll actually be quite high up it

Says a lot about modern day football, 4 bad results on the bounce and you could be gone.

Sometimes they stay on and improve like Arteta did, Arsenal fans were calling for him to get sacked and then he turned it around, has built a good squad and put in decent pushes for the title 2 seasons in a row.

Yes but let's see how they do against the 'Pool tomorrow in the Cuo.

Someone will hopefully take a chance on John Eustace. He's only 44. The Birmingham job was his first full time Managers job. So for his first shot at being a Manager, he did fantastic, and proved himself at clearing the decks and getting better players. Before that, he was assistant at QPR and the Republic of Ireland.
I find it interesting how frequently successful managers are those who played central midfield in their playing career.
