So my journey just to watch the game as usual via DAZN has just started. To watch today's match I'm going to be relying on international air travel and a Middle East airport WiFi connection.
Currently en route to Vienna airport by bus. That will be followed by a flight to Abu Dhabi. My flight is expected to land 10 minutes after kick off.
So I'll be relying on the message board upto kick off and for the opening 15 - 30 minutes.
My away shirt is in my hand luggage. So a quick change of clothing before we land so that I can ..... FOLLOW SOUTHEND AWAY, FOLLOW SOUTHEND AWAY, FOLLOW SOUTHEND AWAY!

UTB!

Quite looking forward to this one, the first half of my weekend footie experience. A trip up the M3 to see what Maidenhead looks like in the gloomy daylight, forget the FAT which would have been a non league stain on our honours list anyway, a 100% rolled-up sleeves tactically more direct assault on the play offs now beckons.
The second half comes tomorrow as SSID Jnr and I head further west to see Argyle bring home my 16:1 bet of an Argyle win v Liverpool.
Bring it on

Non league stain, ha love it, cmon the mighty Southend

Fully expect Hayes to come in for this one and rightly so, as he needs to get up to speed. But does seem harsh on Harness to immediately lose his place when he’s actually not done too much wrong of late.

Think we’ll go 3-4-3. Only massive question marks are Gus and Husin. Would expect both to start if fit, but we do have options if they’re not. LCP will probably be on the bench I reckon, but hoping he’ll get half hour or so.

Feeling alarmingly confident after last week and I fancy Kendall to break his duck today.

If Parillon is on the bench, I'm hoping that inspires the midfielders starting to be on their games. Just like Bonne did against daggers, knowing Hopper was waiting in the wings. Husin also upped his game against Fylde knowing Parillon was inbound. Competition for players is most welcome and something that is imperative to a successful team.
