Magilton Sacked - Someone Tie Tilson Down

Wouldnt be too worried if Tilson left anyway, then Wignall could come back in, he bought the players for tillys title winning side anyway

A list of odds for the next Ipswich manager has just been shown. You'll be pleased to know that they had 10 names on the list and Tilson wasn't in the frame.
Can't remember them all but the likes of Hoddle, Keane, Curbishley, Jewell, Pardew, Poyet, Ferguson were in there.
Well if he appears on the list at some point at 50/1 i'm having a punt !

With respect to Tilson, he's hardly proven himself in the championship, let alone the Prem. Ipswich are looking for top half championship at least.

Roy Keane 2/1 on, with the bookies. Hoddle second favourite. Tilson not even mentioned. The bookies dont often get it wrong, so I'd say their is no chance of him getting the job

Noticed on sky sports news that Hereford manager Graham Turner is stepping down as manager, where does that put Tilly in the list for long term managers?

Was not surprised to see Magilton go, saw the new Ipswich Chief Exec interviewed on SSN and he kept skirting round the subject of Magiltons future.

According to SSN, Keane is a shoe-in. Panic over.

Excellent, it is Keane.

He will destroy them in two months and walk out before the new season starts after a pre-season punch up with Mick McCartney at an Irish Brothel.

The Ipswich Chairman will take Mick's side after the fight claiming that Roy deserved a punch after growing his beard down to his knees saying he thought his manager looked a bit silly.

Keano on hearing the news will first pinch the Chairman's cheque book and spent £40 million tempting Eric Cantona out of retirement to come to Portman Road. He then leaves for good.

Ipshite, now in dire financial trouble, have to file for administration and get docked 10 points plus a further 30 for bankrupting all of the local traders when they went bust 10 years ago and escaped without punishment. The Chairman appeals, loses and the FA in final retribution demote Ipshite to Ridgeons Division 1 for wasting time.

Cantona turns up at Ipshite only to find that the Club have had to sell Portman Road to a local farm and the pitch has been turned over and sewn with broad beans. He walks down the road distraught and wanders down to the local docks where he boards a trawler bound for France. A seagull craps on him as the boat leaves the harbour.

Oh its gonna be fun!:)

Or Keane does what he did at Sunderland and gets them promoted.

It's officially Keane now I see.

At least this brief "panic" has taught us a lot about Tilson's worth just now.
He's far more valued by us than he is by football chairman seeking a new manager. There must be very few jobs that he would now even be interviewed for, let alone secure. I guess the only potential issue this summer could be Norwich, depending on their relegation situation and the knock-on effect that will have to finances and if they decide Bryan Gunn is worth more time.
