Don't think the TV money is as much as that for the play-offs, as all clubs get a share of the money for League and Play-off live games at the start of the season. If your team is selected for a live league or for the play-off games you get extra but it's not alot.

It's really only the FA Cup live games that bring the big money in and even then it's usually only the first match as money for replays is halved.

Yeah the big earner attached to getting to the play offs is the gate receipts of two probably sell-outs and a Wembley final.

I can't believe that anyone who actually goes to the games would want another season of League 2 football, just for the privilege of being proved right.

There at least a couple of posters who claim to be regular attendees and are noticeably silent at the moment. If I were a betting man I would put money on them appearing on here very swiftly if the play-offs go the wrong way.

But they ain't supporters and quite frankly whilst I'm all for free speech, any one that chooses to do this should be banned -full stop ! No arguement from them should be allowed to stand ! Whether you like or dislike Martin and/or Sturrock and/or anything else derogatory , If you can "bask" in any Southend defeat - you should quite frankly f**k off !

Is strange, I have met fans who at certain times can glory in a defeat - to prove a point or to avoid having to accept the club have progressed.

We need to get to the next League up...as simple as that.

My thanks to PS and the team for their efforts so far this season. Just carry on for the next 3 games and a good season will become a great season! For the first time in a number of years supporting SUFC is enjoyable.
