Logic behind giving the scum 2000+ seats for Friday.

DTS

The Business
Not really sure I can understand why we have given the inbreds 2000+ seats for Fridays game. I can only assume that it was on police advice.

Lets be honest they can hardly muster 2000 for a home game let alone coming to our place for a crunch Essex derby.

I also think having fans in the North West corner would have a good boost for the players too.....

Shame really when Blues are missing out for Farmers who wont sell out. :finger:

I reckon it will be for segregation reasons 'on police advice' in case of crowd trouble...

Anyone got Spooner's number, I'd like to have a chat with him about this 'advice' he's giving

:fury:

Am I missing something here? Where does it say that we have given them 2000 tickets? And where does it say that the North West corner will be empty?

We have been given 2080 tickets.

If we do not sell them all at least we will have some extra space to make up for the non-existant leg room and the atrocious view that Roots Hall offers its guests.

Does the Layer Road end not offer a view of all the pitch ?

Do any of you remember the wooden terracing that used to be there ?
Now that really was a unique period feature.

Unless your standing right at the front its a struggle to see the first 6 to 10 yards of the pitch.

And yes I remember the wooden terrace! :hilarious:

:thump: I've been to around 20 stadiums and on a scale of 1-10 of how good the view is, 19 stadiums would not go lower than 6 but Layer Road would be scrapeing 1. Was at the back of the stand last time, and i couldnt even see the half closest to me. And two urinals for 700 people, your having a laugh!!

If its any consolation, I wouldn't fancy eating my dinner off the floor of the sorry excuse for a gentleman's convenience at the Hall.

As for the away end at LR, you would be surprised how many away fans this year have said much they enjoyed the retro terracing experience. Standing up at a proper football ground, just like the good old days.
