He hears it from a 'source' that could be reliable, or not as the case may be, and you immediately assume it's gospel and believe it without waiting to find out whether it is in fact true or not. No wonder this site has gone down the proverbial of late.

This site is fuelled by gossip and rumour, if you want the truth read the News Of The World.

I am not bothered if you believe it or not, I would of thought with your contacts within The Trust you would be able to ratify this or deny it as fact ..it seems you can do neither. On your second point, nobody asks or forces you to come on this site, so rather than (on your infrequent visits) knock it and inform us in your opinion it has gone down the proverbial lately, log on somewhere that you feel gives a better overall picture of what happens at the club.

I could of course bring into play a page full of stats to prove you wrong,but I can't be arsed.

Your reply makes some massive assumptions , and says more about you than me

  • The last time Cricko 'broke' this news he was right!
  • By asking for more information , the answers may/may not give me more information to make up my own mind
  • My reply was a lot quicker/ and more polite that saying 'I don't beleive you, please back up your source, if true please explain whay this is happening
  • If you were so perfect you would know from my previous posts that I actually make up my own mind on things and use common sense and understand fully the difference between a rumour, a rumour that has some credence and fact
  • You are making an assumption that I am making an assumption---- do you see the irony in this ?
  • Site has gone downhill- do you think your post insulting another member has helped ?
 
Today's Echo reckons we're poised to swoop for young Banton on loan.

Presumably Liverpool will be paying all his wages.

Sorry I missed this post..I have no idea why, perhaps they are still tying up loose ends on the paperwork..the word on the grapevine is still that it will be here this week , but that was the same as last week.:unsure:

Who do you think controls the club then?..who pulls the strings and lets us survive when they have what they want in place...Aladdin or the Genie?
 
I understand that allegedly no February pay has been paid to any of the players and there are still some players that are awaiting their January pay! This is the reason why we are under a transfer embargo.

I really believe that the club should be telling us what's going on - is there anyone close enough to ask the questions directly?
