Does anybody know who this kid is?

Training is not exactly a loan deal is it, but it would seem strange to train with us rather than a better equipped parent club.

A tricky direct winger is just what we need right now.

Sounds good if true!

Is there a Sturrock - Kenny connection somewhere in history?

Indeed there is as Luggy was the bass guitarist for the band for a period between 1974 and 1975. Who can forget his tremendous performance on the hit single The Bump?

Jason Banton plays for my Southend Utd in Championship Manager. He's more of a backup player for me as my first choice wingers are excellent.....But considering we finished 8th in the Premier last season (2015) ....He'd probably do quite well in League Two.

Michael Ngoo would not be too bad as he has scored a few goals and would be a good option for us in this crucial period.

Just gone out on loan... cannot recall where but it was to a CCC club. Derby rings a bell.

Scrap that! Was David Amoo who has gone to Hull... close though!

I still find it funny how the future Liverpool striker-force could be N'Goo and N'Gog ............ :tumbleweed:

Apart from N'Gog is shockingly poor, and won't have any future at Liverpool. (or any other top half premier league club for that matter).

Liverpool still insist on playing Glen Johnson, so N'Gog has a chance .....

Anyone been down to the training ground to have a look at this?

Ha ha, fair point. You never know with the scousers, he truely is terrible though.

Could be a good addition til the end of the season if we could get this youngster in? Hope he's hungry to prove himself.

Oh dear no! in Comparison to N'Gog, Johnson is made to look like Sergio Ramos\Roberto Carlos\Ashley Cole all rolled into one.

Sounds like a promising aquisition , but the fact he left arsenal blackburn and maybe now liverpool in search of first team football would suggest he has an attitude or a huge ego or both .

He would probably view southend as team were he will be the main man and if he was dropped in favour of others would he be able to handle it?

That said if him coming in means we can finally offload soares onto some unsuspecting ryman div 2 club im all for it.

I would say a loan deal with a view to a perm would be best for everyone, except if he sets the world alight he will be gone elsewhere or become unnafordable.

Will liverpool even want a fee? If they do they will probably view 200k as divisory and as far as blues are concerned is might aswell be 2 million.

Anything over 50k and Ron would pull the plug.

We are short of both cover and pace and a deal cant be that far away if this kid is training with us. Maybe he is the final piece of the jigsaw we have been missing.

Oh yeah! The last thing we would want is a player with a reputation for having an attitude problem like Stan Collymore and freddie eastwood.....blimey lets not go down that road again!

I think people are getting far too carried away with themselves. Liverpool only signed him in January and was Dalglish's first signing IIRC, so King Kenny obviously rates him. I doubt much has changed in the last two months, and him training with us is more than likely to see how he settles in with the side before committing to a lengthy loan spell that could unsettle him further.

I doubt there'll be any question of us signing the lad on a permanent basis.

I have heard rumors of Soares going the other way. Not good news in my opinion
