He makes it known that he would like to move on. May alert more clubs and we could get more, more less for him.
Fair point, never thought of it like that. But you do need more than one club to be interested to create that bidding war.

If a single club just comes in and says 'we want Lenny' RM just says no. Lenny handing in a transfer request means that RM can then name a price and if any clubs are interested they can try and arrange a fee. It could easily gather interest from other teams too
It's only a small man cave so it's Graham Farish N Gauge.Normal OO Gauge 1:76 16.5mm or EM 1:76 18.2mm?
Do like a good EM finescale model railway layout, as the track proportions look much better.

Oh dear Ricey, yes it was you who suggested he might down tools but other posters jumped on the rot in the reserves sentence.
I'm sure as a military man your are familiar with the phrase "if the cap fits". Well you are certainly wearing it.
For your information the club decided not to play Lenny, as clubs often do when they have a decision to make about a players future. So no he hasn't downed tools
The very fact that Championship clubs have offered more than £500,000 for a L1 player in his last year shows how professional and effective he has been for our team.
Some of you slagging him off and questioning his 'loyalty' might want to think about getting down to RH more twice a season. We would all benefit from more support, in fact we might just make the Championship ourselves.
Where are people calling him a traitor? I understand everyone's view, but Sufc comes before any player so unless we were doing something totally. Therefore as the club don't want him to put in a transfer request I do not want him too either. I don't see anything positive in him doing that, he doesn't need to submit a transfer request to leave. TBH I have never seen so much positivity been given to a player who apparently was going to put in a transfer request- I don't get it. It's his choice , fair enough but I won he clapping him for doing it. If someone comes in a itch what Ron considers to be the right offer for gen fair enough , but if the offer doesn't come in then he will just have to get ov r it and hopefully play with an attitude of " I want a record 4 years of poty6 years. 236 appearances. 23 goals. 3 POTY Awards. 1 promotion. Not sure what more people want before they don't call a player wanting to further his career a traitor. No current player deserves the chance more, and to go with every supporters best wishes and thanks for his service. Some people need to grow the **** up. To be honest I'm surprised it's taken this long for other clubs to take notice of him.
Depends on what they are after as these two are different types of midfielders. Lenny gets about the pitch better and is more athletic whereas Lundstrom is a much better footballer.
Any chance of a picture?
P.S. Has Lenny or has he not put in a transfer request? I'm struggling to keep on the rails here ............
It's my understanding that the bid from Sheffield United of £500k plus add ons was what Lenny and his agent were told the club would deem acceptable to seal his departure. When Ron Martin turned that down that triggered the transfer request.
Are you talking about Leonard, the adult who signed a contract and no longer wants to honour it, or yourself swearing on a message board? Just checking.
Jesus, just because you don't agree with what someone has said doesn't mean they're childish.
So because I don't agree with you, I need to grow the **** up????? I think you do because everyone is entitled to an opinion even though it's not of your liking..
The fact is he is under contract until this time next year, so if Ron wants to be a **** he can make him stay. If we don't get the right money then keep him, then if he stays and down tools let him rot in the reserves for all I care. Haven't got time for players who do this!
Nice to hear you're a military man too. I'm a former Royal Anglian...... From my time in the military, I've never heard the phrase (if the cap fit's) I think you made that up......
that's what I thought as wellIts not of Military specific origin. I thought it was a very old phrase linked to the Dunces hat, or fools cap
Yeah, but your opinion is wrong :winking:
