It was a top effort from the lads especially the young guns, a great pity robinson hit the post and Scanners had an effort saved towards the end.

this was always going to be a difficult game, home to yeovil was not.

Yup, to be honest nobody would have expected us to get anything at Leeds - even looking at it in August, so these are bonus games if you get anything.

Your Yeovil at home's are the games you MUST win, simply MUST.

Yea fantastic effort, shouldve won the game. Didnt concede a goal in the last 79 minutes, got ot be proud of that. If w can just sort out the hopeless defending and lack of firepower we will fly up the table.

So leeds had 4 on target and, 2 were simple saves, did mildenhall get anywhere near the other 2

Getting silly now:madman:

Now that is something I can agree with.

The frustration tonight is a spill over from Saturday.

We now have two huge games coming up. We need to be able to take something out of those games, something that we can build on and give the players cause for belief.

Hopefully we can make a signing or two, if only to sign a player as a lucky mascot.

Yup, think you are right about the Saturday hang-over. Not helped by the lack of subs and the quick fire double from Leeds - sure we were all fearing the very worst, but I'll give credit to the players who sounded like they played their hearts out which is encouraging.

Heart is all well and good, but we desperately need some quality from somewhere... heres hoping we can get a few in before Saturday.

6 points away from relegation is better than 6 points from safty
is your glass half full or half empty?
well if your glass is half full its like you have filled it half way. If its half empty, then your on the way for a top up!! And more beer means better imagination.. :) 'Southend will get promoted'

I'd love us to get some more quality in, but if we can't we'll just have to try and win it on heart alone. There will be teams worse than ours who stay up this year on heart alone.

You really hate Mildenhall, don't you? Where did you get your info from?

From the BBC:

Leeds
shots on target 7
shots off target 3

87:36
The ball is crossed by Jonathan Howson, Luciano Becchio takes a shot. Steve Mildenhall makes a brilliant save.

50:10
Jermaine Beckford takes the chance to get an effort at goal. Steve Mildenhall makes a fantastic save.

36:07
Shot from 20 yards from Jermaine Beckford. Save made by Steve Mildenhall.

9:32
Jermaine Beckford takes a shot. Save by Steve Mildenhall.

So, of SEVEN shots on target, Mildenhall saved FOUR. One 'fantastic' and one 'brilliant'.

No details on BBC as to how he performed for the goals, so obviously I can't comment as I didn't go to the game either.

Did Barrett leave his player unmarked at the corner? Did Herd get skinned for the cross? Or was it Sankofa at fault? Well bugger me, we let in two goals; it must be Mildenhall's fault.
