Lee Sawyer on Bluesworld

Wasn't Campbell-Ryce on loan at Colchester (*SPIT*) when we managed to get him to sign for us?

The problem we've got I guess is that there's very little we could do to stop another Club taking him on loan on sunday.

Very true indeed.

As I posted at the end of September/beginning of October, as of then I said there was much more of a chance of Sawyer signing then Harding and this appears to still be the case from the AGM as everyone now knows. Even back then Sawyer was keen to sign permanently, but if there is indeed some truth behind the interest from other clubs then the chances of us getting him may have been wounded somewhat.

I think JCR was at Colchester because Rotherham refused to let us sign him until they couldn't say no any longer, and so because he knew he was coming to us eventually, he went on loan to someone nearby because of the convenience thing. I've no basis for that, just me surmising.
