Yeah i know maybe another silly rumour but i believe a deal could well be in the pipe line for the Spurs man as Tilly is known to be interested in him before and i think his back with spurs now after being on loan with crewe during this season who he had an excellent performance with down here at the hall.

What are your thoughts on him.

He was total crap, apart from being a pain in the ar$e for our defence. He never looked like scoring, but then Crewe are probably the worst team we've seen down here other than D & R.

D & R had a good player (I can't remember his name, he was the small-ish, very lively black guy) who would be a better choice, but he would be another short ar$e upfront.

Barnard will be another player sent packing by a "big" club, who people will assume is good for the sole reason he's from Spurs!

I thought that black guy was a good player, and also their centre midfielder? with the blond highlights.

I thought although not the tallest that black guy won a lot of headers against Barrett and Clarke.

Personally I would make a bid for Steve Morison from Stevenage. Clearly we have a good relationship with the club and Peter Taylor and the guy has scored lots of goals for them, and is at a good age (24) to maek the step up.

I didn't really see much if any of him but he seems to have done ok for Swindon so guess he can't be totally pony, but then again some players settle at clubs.

In my first few years supporting Southend I thought Gary Jones was not only a poor striker at Southend but possibly one of the worst players I have ever seen step foot on a football pitch.

However when we eventually sold him he went and banged in 30+ goals in his first season with Notts County.

He's local and rubbish. I watched him closely for Crewe as he's been linked with us in the past and his performance was awful. Not only that, he seems to be one of those players that struts around the pitch thinking he's playing in a league much beneath him. He definitely isn't.
