Laurent and Thierry Henry

Was really impressed, brilliant header, looked good on the ball, got a bit of pace, held the ball up well and not scared to put a tackle in

Quite why he is 5th choice striker is beyond me, when we have Walker who cant hit a barn door with a banjo !

He did well today, and looks a decent prospect

Allez Laurent, Allez Laurent, Allez Laurent!!

Allez Le Blues!!!!

Looked fantastic, put him ahead of Walker pleased. He went mental went he scored, looked like he was going to explode with delight. Now that's passion.

laurent played brilliant today, would put him in front of walker, revell played his socks off aswell, we now have a good choice for our front line, shame tilson mucked about with defence, we should leave francis on the right and put sankofa on the left, we just looked too unbalanced especially as francis kept creeping back over to the right which gave paynter too much space

One of the best headers Ive ever seen and what a ball from Clarkey. Great celebration too. Would still have Doug and Barney as my front two but what a sub to bring on.

Would put my mortgage on him being a French international within two years.

Ditto!

Laurent = a tall centre forward with some physical presence & not a lightweight unlike the Harrolds & Revells of this world. That said Revell was a revelation (sorry!) today, but needs to take a few lessons from Dougie on how & where to run & where he should be as a striker. Looked better than he did last season.

I never ever seem to see the celebrations... Whenever we score I always end up going so mental, I seem to spend the first minute after the restart trying to calm the blood vessel that I am certain is going to burst..

What was the celebration today? For some reason I was facing the back of the east stand jumping inanely on the spot trying to cuddle complete strangers and then find my way back to my seat half blind through my second embolism of the match

Doesn't it just seem a short time ago when we had a powder puff attack and absolutely no options on the bench..........the attacking choices now are rather more interesting than when there was Billy Paynter & the Prince. Walker will no doubt rue that miss however he is young and his day will come. Laurent seems to have grabbed his chance with both hands. A good win, without Barney, ( does anyone know the seriousness of his hamstring injury?) Freedman and Harding.
