Last night

Napster

No ⭐
All the players were a good bunch- shame a few didn't make it to Chameleons later on- couple of points:

Friday is the day they all find out about their futures- Leke is the most confident

We are in talks with three players- one of which is a 32-year-old ex-Shrimper (NOT Prior)

Leon Cort really wants to stay

Kev Maher has no idea his agent is a bit dodgy

Robbo turned up despite being released- even his neighbour Jimmy Corbett didnt know he had been released (although everyone knew abourt Clark- it's been on the cards for ages)

It's easy to pull if you're a player. Although some didn't want the attention...

Jamie Stuart and Che Wilson are top blokes.

Che Wilson was promised a new contract by Tilly before he was made permanent

There is a great team spirit amongst the players

Wozza is in the doghouse for staying out till gone midnight

Drewe thanked us for starting the whole Dreeeeewwwwwww thing, but thought at first we were booing him- took him a while to realise we weren't

Duncan Jupp was genuinely interested in our plans for a new stadium.

I'm sure will come back soon when I remember

Fully understand Drewe's uncertainty!

I must admit I thought the same thing the first time I saw Ruud Van Nistilroy score for Man Ure and the whole Ruuuuuuud thing started!

"Why are they booing him" I thought!

"Stupid to**er"my wife thought!

I was stuck watching Southanpton v Newcastle last night, with Benfleet Blue! texting me messages as he was hobnobbing with the players.

When Titus scored an own goal for Newcastle, I sent the following message:

'Titus has just scored an own goal for Newcastle. Ask Tes if the condition 'own-goalitus' runs through the Bramble family.'

About 30 mins later I received the reply:

'He laughed'

It made me chuckle and i felt part of it... even though I'm in Malta.

?

BTW, as long as some players stay, expect SZ exclusives next season...!!!

Oh Jamie Stuart's uncle owns a couple of casinos in the West End- and I can see why Cockles sponsors him..I dropped a pint glass (accidentally) and some bloke apologised to me. I said fine- but Jamie wanted to take this bloke outside. Good lad....

did anyone speak to any other players to se if they knew about contracts did tilly say who was getting contracts or who was nt

To be fair, I wouldn't expect that Royce would have a problem settling his contract with the club if he really wanted to move.

Am I right in thinking he's almost as short as Flahavan though?

Undoubtedly a better keeper though, just making a point to the 'Flahavan is too short' club.

erm, yes, I did. No-one knows anything...and Tilly is not saying.

Just remembered something else. When "cheer up sleepy Jean" came on in Chameleon, Tes sang "cheer up Stevie Wignall"

Jenks and Corbett aren't confident, Wozza and Leke are.

Which reminds me- Jimmy has had a few offers from Northern clubs in this division, but wants to stay here, as he lives in Gillingham and doesnt want to leave...

Really hope Jimmy stays... would be gutted to see him go. Especially if he wants to stay in the South.

Mystified as to why Leke's so confident... unless he's on peanuts, financially-speaking. I mean, it's not as if he's contributed too much on the pitch this year, is it?

Matt

P.S. Good news about Wozza - fingers crossed!

How much do you think they should be offered?
Leon constantine
Kevin Maher
Leon Cort

As much as the club can reasonably afford, taking into account our current financial position, as well as projected future income...

You don't have a monopoly on being devil's advocate, old boy...

If it has already been said that Friday is decision day then why would it be mentioned on the Wednesday before?
