Kings Lynn and Wealdstone tickets ?

Well in my eyes the really sensible thing to do if Grimsby have to postpone would be to call upon Yeovil to fulfill the fixture as they are not due to play this weekend. This I’m sure would keep everyone happy would it not??
yeah agreed, i didn't think of that. Solihull are playing Wrexham now due to Dover and someone else suffering COVID issues so Yeovil stepping up would make sense.

That was my thinking, how much do BT want a live game and how much do they care about moving games for fans, sky do it all the time at short notice, when we played home to Sheffield United it was moved to midweek for sky after their fans had booked to stay here the weekend. i do hope not but it might be worth keeping an eye on the Grimsby situation.
Yeah exactly, I've paid for my ticket and accommodation in Norfolk because we're arriving one day early before our staycation begins on the Sunday. If anything changes, I won't be able to attend and a bit of wasted money down the drain. Anyways, lets hope nothing changes.

it's not Yeovil they were due to play Wrexham, the odd team I think is Eastleigh to they can go to Bromley and be on the Telly, sorted.

@Bobthelinnet - I note the section of the main stand has nearly sold out whilst the other end is pretty empty.

I just wondered if that were normal because of the entry/exit, or if you suspect it is because Southend fans have bought up the away end? (Or a bit of both!)

Your Southend friends are more upbeat than mine mate.

Personally I can’t wait for Stockport, can’t make an away til Halifax or Torquay. I’ve read and heard down the pub all sorts of nonsense about PB being the wrong man, about us having players too old/too ****, possible embargos, the “shame” of being non league, another season of struggle etc.

What we need is a good few wins to get the Hall rocking and get us all believing. It does make me smile, the fact that so many of our fans are so keen to get back regardless of who we’re playing or in what league. Restores the old faith a bit. UTB!

It's simple why so many of us are going to Kings Lynn. This is a unique occasion within our lifetimes. It is the only chance to say "I was there!" when our club played it's first non-EFL match in over a century. It's an historic occasion without doubt. Not the sort of history we were hoping for (we may have to wait a while before we can say we were there at our first Premiership match - if indeed we were hoping for that), but it's historic nonetheless.

COYB! Make it a day to remember for all the right reasons.

Ok well that’s a fair reason and if it wasn’t for being away with family, I’d be there too. Not because it’s history but it’s a new ground. I’m gonna miss a good day I’m sure. 3-0? Murphy hat-trick?

Whilst I agree, I think there is a bigger reason. For many, this is their first game since Covid struck. For me, it's my first competitive game (preseason aside) since staying up in Sheffield for no reason for our Rotherham game that was called off. Wow that's a long time ago!

Many just want to see football again, in whatever league. It's why so many people went to Wakering. I couldn't believe the queues for that game. It showed people were chomping at the bit to get back.

How long the novelty lasts, time will only tell. For now, let's just enjoy it.

I can't wait for Saturday. UTB!

I’ve got 2 tickets in the main stand (away fans end) and can’t wait. Just wondering whether or not to wear my Southend shirt seeing as it isn’t segregated.
