Kings Lynn and Wealdstone tickets ?

Apologies - you're right. I took the fact that it had changed from Amber to Grey as meaning it was now sold out.
I'm not entirely convinced KL are best equipped to deal with the sort of numbers we and several others (Grimsby, Notts, Chesterfield etc) will be taking there this season to be honest. I foresee a few issues on the day, so will be trying to get in early if possible.

Anyone had responses from KL to the away supporters sitting in the posh seats letter?
Yep within a couple of hours after sent email 3pm ish on Saturday. I did not get an email by the way, but thought I would pre-empt and explain why seats were needed. I was told not a problem and i shall take that email on the day in case of issues.

PS misread, we are not in the posh seats just the normal priced seats.

Whats updated estimates on attendance now, I think we might creep over 1000

Not yet. Can still basket tickets on the away terrace.
If you click on the grey area that states Away Terrace you are allowed to book up to four tickets. However the tickets now state Away Fans General Admission rather than when I bought ours which stated Block Away Standing. I would assume they have sold out of the official Away Terrace and will allocate the other standing area at our end as an overspill. I also agree with Shrimpergarry that the first six rows of seating sold on our side of the main stand are probably Southend fans as the other end of the seating on the Kings Lynn side you can still book in the front row! If not very strange booking behaviour. So if we have have sold our 989 terrace tickets and we are being allowed to book more for somewhere else in the ground and a few hundred in the seats already we are already at 1,200+ which is more than I thought we would take.

Actually I’m confused as I have just looked at my printed off tickets and they state Away Fans General Admission but the confirmation email stated Block Away Standing. If you book now it states Away Fans General Admission on the booking screen rather than Block Away Standing.

All this talk of outnumbering the home support and being at away days again has got my pants tingling come on you blues

Buzzing first away game then the second then looking forward to seeing Rhys Murphy score his first away goal at kings lynn

Can only cart 2 away terrace tickets at Kings Lynn. So terrace tickets must nearly be sold out.
Can still buy seat tickets though and nothing on either official site saying we can't buy them!

? interesting to see some of the comments about non league. Some facts that might help you understand why Kings Lynn aren't segregating and what to expect...

clubs have to pay for police presence at 'risk' matches and segregation might alert the local police. Reality is that the club have to provide a set number of stewards per 500 (I think) fans and take measures they deem appropriate - it's only a few stewards and they are likely volunteers.

Practicality of segregation also difficult at smaller NL grounds, have to demonstrate that it can be done for ground grading but that's the same as demonstrating that you can fit 3,500 in :)

On the day if no segregation just pay cash at the door. Southend will likely outsell some home supports as it's new grounds, I was used to that when in football, clubs would bring twice as many fans for the away trip.

Take cash with you. I installed credit card terminals around the ground and was seen as 'innovative' in non league, even got interviewed by the press about it.

"Sell out"... everyone wishes.

To give an idea in NLS we didn't even have facilities to print tickets let alone sell any in advance, it is just turn up and pay. COVID changed that a bit but just email confirmations.

In general non league fans are there for the day trip away and meeting mates, not mass riots as some seem to think.

Correct about NL not allowing drinking in sight of the pitch, that finishes at NL N/S.

Surely Essex police will be saying to their Norfolk colleagues “listen, this has to have some sort of segregation or you will have problems” because 1300 Essex boys being a bit loud won’t go down well up there.

If it’s a hot day, everyone on the booze with 18 months of frustration inside them I can see there being absolute chaos if the old bill don’t get their act together.

It'll be a decision for their local police and the club to negotiate, no doubt informed by Essex Police if any specific intelligence.

I really would like to think that we Southend supporters can go to an away match and watch the match without any form of trouble. The last thing I would want is for Southend fans to be branded trouble makers, after all it's only a game.

exactly. The average non league fan is a child, a 70 year old, etc... it's hardly Football Factory or Green Street. The novelty of not being segregated will wear off.

And as for the comment about 'designated pubs'. LOL. just drink at the first pub you see outside the station, and then in the ground...?

Kings Lynn's fans are no choirboys. It's widely known they have a local 'firm' who usually turn up at home games 10 mins after ko, after leaving their local pub, to attempt to cause some problems.
Stewards turn a blind eye, otherwise they'd get grief from them in the town at some point.
Mate of mine knows a guy who moved there from Basildon couple of years ago, his a Bus driver. Reckons it's worse down there than Basildon for daily 'antics'!.
