Yep. In our cases, it's a genuine requirement though so I'd guess we'll be okay anyway - albeit you'll want to respond? The concern will be for the other Shrimpers who may have booked. Won't be too hard to locate SS postcodes. While there may be some unique variables for ticketing, I just don't legally see that they can change the conditions and force a customer to respond in order to validate what's already a contract.
 
God help them when someone more local tries to bring at least double the numbers we will - thinking Notts County/Grimsby/Chesterfield…

They’re already nailing their doors shut up there and all Norfolk Constabulary leave has been cancelled. There’ll be horses on the pitch and everything.
 
I've tried ringing the Mobile number above and the ground land line. Blown out on both as nobody is answering. I have therefore sent them an email providing the information they require and pointing out that I expect them to honour the contract we entered into by taking my money and providing tickets.

They are a non league club that were in the Southern League 3 seasons ago - they won’t have the infrastructure to have full time staff working at weekends or even in the week. Wouldn’t surprise me if the box office manager is very part time or even a volunteer and because they sell tickets on line works from home. Our admin overheads will be enormous compared with theirs and lot of the other clubs. They are usually deal with crowds of 1000 most of which will be home supporters. This will have been a shock to their system ( or lack of it)

They have a friendly at Alfreton Town today - they are probably all there. The players have only just gone full time this season.

But perversely, that size of crowd means I will be giving it a miss.

Sad & jealous at the same time - the start of a new era for Southend United perhaps.

Good for Southend United in that a vocal support can assist away from home but this will also help the opposition in terms of revenue.

If we can keep good sized home crowds then hopefully Phil Brown will feel the benefit in terms of budget.
 
good morning all shrimpers i wasn`t sure if was free on 21st but all ok so left it late for buying ticket all done in about 2 minutes have noticed on ticket there is no entrance number it just has away fans general admission so i guess it`s go in and stand anywhere ?

This is the layout of the ground if that helps. I would imagine that your ticket gets you into the amber part, but who knows.
