Ref Watch .... Kettle

I think we witnessed history in the making, Kettle only dishes out two yellow cards and gives us a penalty!!!

Thought he had a good game, probably the best I have ever seen him tbh, so I am savouring the memory! :D Thought that we could have had a pen in the first half, but I have no complaints tbh, we won and thats all that counts!

That's like saying -18 is the warmest you've ever seen it at the north pole.

In fairness, I thought he managed the game very well. When the tackles started flying in at the beginning of the second half, he yellowed most of the ones that connected (apart from the one on Moussa but that was in fuirst half I suppose) but still had a quiet word with those who tried ones that didn't. I was in the West Stand and like others with my view couldn't really see if Barney's was a pen or not but Scannell's looked more 'giveable' than Barney's. Got a great view of the lino's ineptitude though - rarely in line with play and fatter than both Kettle and me.

So Kettle has now officiated at 10 SUFC matches, of which we've won 7 and drawn 3. I'm going to see if he's got a fan club.
