Or Big RoyProbably a good job for him our current squad is as it is and it wasn’t in the days of Deegan, Timlin and Barry.

The fact that Lee Hughes, Ravel Morrison and Mason Greenwood all went back into football after their previous tells me he will have a new club at some point in the not too distant future.Such sad news. Cant condone what he did and it left the club with no where to go. However i hope he gets the help he needs. Doubt he will be playing football again certainly not at this level
We’re perfectly capable of losing for free, no need to pay usI won’t confirm what he has done, but I’ve seen suggestions since this broke that it’s for throwing matches/match fixing.
I can confirm, it’s 100% NOT to do with match fixing or throwing matches.
I’ve seen stuff from match fixing, sleeping with Jack Bridges missus and stealing from team mates to fund gambling but who knows if any of them are true!what are the rumours of what he did?

Maybe a good note to close the thread on?The speculation needs to stop. It's just damaging to others. Just accept he's gone, like the club have, move on and get behind the boys.
I feel sorry for Kevin Maher, so now we've lost a key Centre-Back and a key Centre Forward. Some people are still trying to figure out why we're currently struggling.
Genuine question then. We signed Crowther, Gubbins, Waldron and Walker before Cardwell and Kensdale departed.
Wind isn’t going to challenge Gus.
Hillson isn’t going to challenge Collin.
If they are not good enough to fight for the position or replace them, what is the point in signing them? It’s poor recruitment and poor tactical set up to blame for our woes.
When the ‘football department’ was set up with John Still, they said there was a whiteboard in the training ground with 20-40 names on at any given time. Ron was the blame for 3 years of no signings, what’s the excuses going to be now?
We have signed players though (granted we could still do with more). Any Manager at our level would think their wildest dreams have come true bringing in Bonne & Moncur. Also bought in KAF and Pepple recently took. Now if the players aren't good enough or we don't have the management to get the best out of them....that's an entirely different question!Genuine question then. We signed Crowther, Gubbins, Waldron and Walker before Cardwell and Kensdale departed.

I don't think the problem we're having currently is a lack of money for transfers, given that most players at our level don't cost much. The issue is the lack of available players who are genuinely going to enhance us, which relates to the time of year.On the off chance we have a target that we can't quite meet the demands of, could this free up some money in the transfer budget?
