Here's a little bit more information about him:

As if by magic :)
As it goes, if you check, Morrim was a signing I suggested you'd be making very early on during the 'potential signings' thread.
In short? I'd like to say that you could do better, but with the parlous finances at the club... The good news is that Morrim is a class shot-stopper, who has become marginally better at coming off his line for crosses over the years. On the negative side, he isn't great at 1-on-1 keeping, he doesn't save penalties, he isn't very communicative, he lacks presence and his kicking is atrocious off both feet.
He's solid back up at lower division level, but I can't imagine that he's signed on as anything other than first choice after nearly a decade serving as understudy to a series of very average keepers (Lee Harrison, Glyn Garner, Stuart Nelson) and one quality one (current incumbent Jamie Jones). On the plus side, Rhys Evans is utter gash (we had him for a season) and even worse than Morrim, so I reckon you've dodged a bullet there.

Perhaps we're waiting for Emberson to sign as new number 1 then?
I wouldnt, one little injury and your relying on your youth keeper is in goal, not something Id relish.
Two senior keepers and a youth is how Id do it but if finances are that bad who knows.

That was Rhys Wilmott, not Rhys Evans - and you're an Orienrt supporter?
Bit harsh to judge him based on what he did 8 years ago.
Well I think we could be in all sorts of trouble this season with an almost completely new squad. The relegation odds of 4/1 with Will Hill do not lie. If we can get a few good starts early on then great but that could be more a case of teams not knowing anything about us as opposed to us having a quality team. I think 12/15 games in before you can start to establish how we are doing with PS.
Did you not go to the friendlies ?
Was very positive and for a team that has only just met played very well. If thats any reflection of the team we will have then relegation is no way realistic.
Its early days and as you say they need time before we can judge them, but I saw more to be positive than negative about.
Odds are nonsense for our team, we dont even know what the team is let alone the bookies.
Jam Man,
No, I have not been to the friendlies this year. A 2-0 loss to Dartford and a 1-1 draw with Derby. IMO you can't read much into pre-season friendlies. 2 games in it is as much about fitness as anything. Teams do not spend so much time on tactics etc. I have read all of the reports for both friendlies and I will not be withdrawing my comments.
Again please respect my comments with regards to teams knowing nothing about us and a team full of players who will be busting there gut to prove their worth to PS which I guarantee does not happen at any club throughout a whole season.
I am feeling positive about on the field activities because quite frankly off it is depressing. But I think it is more a case of the team playing better than expected as opposed to being spectacularly good!
Anyway, enjoy your friendlies and please report back. It always makes for good reading but I will not be able to attend games for a little while.
Regards,

Its all very well discounting friendlies but Im sure if we had played terribly and lost 6-0 then the Derby game would have meant something. The fact is we played well and thats all we have to base things on.
Id rather we had players busting a gut for Sturrock and keen to impress than a team like last year completely demoralised and defeated before they walked on the pitch. Plus surely the team will get stronger as time goes on when they gel rather than worse?
My point stands, bookies know nothing of our team and have nothing to base their odds on and Id be very surprised if we are anywhere near the bottom based on the signings we have made.
Whether we are anywhere near the play offs is another matter..
Morrim (yes, it's an in-joke, not a typo)
